Try using a dormer too, at least to start. You may need to explode it and make manual changes, but it should get you started.

Check walls for No Room Definition.

Think about the tools you have to make this happen. Hole in the wall with trim? -- Pass Through Shelves? -- Upper cabinet without doors

No conversion needed. Download and import.

Have you checked the bonus catalogs and 3D Warehouse? This is 3 roof planes.

Suite is limited in what you can do to fix this, and the fix depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Simplest is to have 2 plans, one for interior views and one for exterior. You could change the wall to and interior wall, then manually add a layer on the exterior using shapes from the library to make it look correct

You are asking about the grid pattern? You have looked at the Lites panel when you open the window?

What is a "French or Queen Anne panel type"? Pictures?

Take away the 1st floor. How would you model a house that looks like your 2nd floor?

The not very helpful answer is to learn to use the roof tools. Not difficult, but will take study and practice. I don't see any dormers, so maybe start by rethinking your approach to the roof. Look at it like it's a first floor that just happens to be sitting on top of another structure. And your file did not correctly attach. Close Pro, then attach it just like you did the image.

I don't know how I could have been clearer. I never said you should upgrade or indicated you could not do what you wanted with Suite, although because I don't have the plans, I could not be sure.

An arch top doorway has a casing (trim) that you may assign a molding to. There are no arched moldings to find.

What didn't work? What did you do? I never said to use soffits alone, just suggested you could use soffits along with walls and doors.

I'm not clear on what you are wanting, but with Pro, you have manual roof planes, so learn and use them to create the roof. If you can post a drawing showing your desired roof, someone might be able to help with doing it automatically.

Sloped Soffits, or a Custom Backsplash. Forum search will find more details.

Yes (maybe). There are multiple ways to set it up -- a 2nd floor over the entire structure, or one only for the loft. And you might also try using a Shelf Ceiling over the room and no 2nd floor. This will let you set the ceiling height for just that space independent of the larger room.

Chief has a tool that derives the pattern from the texture.
