I think you need to spend some dedicated time watching videos/reading articles/documentation. Don't know what you use the software for, but if it's for business, it will make you more efficient, and you will probably learn things you did not know about. And if you are still using 2018, consider an upgrade when 2022 comes out next year. Lots of new features introduced over several years. I was using Premier in the video, but yes, Pro will show trusses and joists.

Look under structure -- it's a checkbox. Look under Materials. You cannot remove, only change.

What tool do you have available that would create an arched opening? Hint -- they are all over the house.

You can make square columns from cabinets, soffits or shapes. Image is a cabinet. Similar for the arched opening.

Which columns are you asking about?

Read about how you can break a stair section into multiple parts and then control things like width and railings.

Then I imagine it's not an option. You can do it in Pro.

It looks like the roof is building to the rail. Maybe you want the left side gable to extend to the front corner? Select the railing and change to Full Gable.

I know of no documentation other than what's in Help. I've never seen this option used, or even asked about. I believe there is no point to point functionality, you place a point in Layout and the center of the Layout Box left edge will snap to the point.

Open a cabinet and take a look.

You can import CAD Blocks made in Chief into the library, but you cannot use them in the program. Except you cannot block CAD.

That's not even "kinda" a solution.

Sounds like a truss. Have you considered this? Tools>Layer Settings>Display Options Open a roof plane, under Structure.

Each view has its own set of display options. Check to set things to display. Simply changing defaults does not change existing roof planes. Open them and change. Reasoning for not using auto built ones? -- And it's helpful to break up your post with a few blank lines -- make it easier to identify each question/problem.
