1. Edit / Default Settings / Plan / Check the box 'Ignore Casing for Opening Resize'. Allows you to drag the door / pass-thru further into other walls. 2. Check 'no room definition' for railing, then control / drag it into place.

All done with the same tools that Suite has. Remember, room ceiling heights affect the placement level of the roof. The ceiling heights are temporary. When the roof is correct, you turn off 'auto build roof' and reset the ceiling heights. The garage fix involves a small temporary room in the problem area, set with 'no roof over this room'. That room can also be deleted when 'auto build roof' is turned off. Start playing. Also, you said that the roof pitch should be 1/12". But the default roof is set at 2/12", and some of the walls are set at 2" & 3" pitch. What is it to be?

Trying to decipher what you are wanting. Is this it?

You have to open the terrain perimeter, and uncheck "flatten pad". You will also have to raise the "subfloor height above terrain" to about 18", to slightly raise the house foundation above the ground. This means that some adjustments will likely need to be done (porch floor, garage floor). I shaped, and then set, the orange colored elevation region to 0", and combined it into one region with the other region that you had to the right side of the property. I set the green colored elevation region at -102" to reveal the concrete patio (-107" was too low!). I added some retaining walls, as you suggested. I did not change anything else. You might want to add railings on top of the retaining walls, for safety.

LawB10, The plan was done in Suite 2020, and HDA 2018 will NOT open this plan.
-
Do not post pdf's. Post a jpg. Uploading your plan FILE would help, so that someone trying to help does not have to try to replicate the plan, to get a result.
-
I don't understand what you want. If this is an existing house, now would be a good time to post a pic of the real house, clearly showing the 2nd floor.

Open that stair, and put a check mark in the 'open underneath' box, to get rid of the wall. You will then need to use a wedge shape from the library, to cover up the hole. It actually took 1 wedge, and 2 closed box shapes to correctly fill the hole.

Did you look in the 'Archives' folder, for a saved copy of the plan?

Thanks DJP. It is hard to sort out what the problem is and what he wants, based on the lax description. LawB10: If the back room floor heights are lowered to "0", it will no longer be a split level!
-
You raised part of the 1st floor level, to create the split level. Of course the interior wall and the foundation level had to rise as well. WHAT DID YOU EXPECT??? Turn on the floor reference tool. Go to the foundation level and draw an interior wall where the missing wall is supposed to be. Align it with the wall above. WHY are you using siding walls in the interior of the house?! Your stairs and their surrounding walls need a lot of work, too.

Fix the 2nd floor wall, then rebuild roof.

If you raise the 'build roof' pitch to 14°, that will allow you to raise the 2nd floor ceiling back to 2300mm. The front wall shed roof looks steeper, so I raised that to 22°. To better display the split levels, floor 1 (2 levels) walls are beige colored. The 2nd floor is white. The attic walls are green.

You still are not saying what version of Suite you have. The main rear wall of the house is set as a railing?! It is very confusing what you want the roof to look like. Is it pic 1, pic2, or neither? In your pic of the real house, the outbuilding section on the rear, doesn't look like either of these roof pics.

Assuming that you have already set both end walls of the deck as 'gable', call for a roof over the deck. Open the deck room dialog, and start lowering the 'finished ceiling' of the room until the roof behaves the way you want it to look. For the closet, open the closet dialog, check 'shelf ceiling', and then start lowering the 'finished ceiling' until the gap goes away.
-
Not really sure about what you want it to look like, just from your description. Is it supposed to look like this?
-
Depending on how desperate you are... Set the room type for the entire 1st floor structure as a 'deck'. The deck floor structure 8 3/8". You will then need to set the floor finish (standard is 7/8") If you want room labels to show, do NOT change the room type, but change the room name. 8 3/8" is still not 9" (?), but it is a lot closer than 12 5/8".

Read about Lower Wall Type When Split bu Butting Roof. You do not have that option with Architectural. Cover up either the interior or the exterior with the custom backsplash, and change the backsplash material.

Like Eric said...everything looks correct in newer versions of the plan (I haven't tried opening it in the 2021 version). Pro 2018 opens it looking just like you said, so it must be a glitch that they fixed? The attic walls show correctly in the 2D plan view, so there's nothing to correct there that I can see. So...in the 3D view, select and drag the attic walls into the correct position.
-
Everything Eric posted in his videos is 'spot on'. The only thing he didn't address (I believe) is the 2nd floor back wall roof plane. You built the 2nd floor with the back wall directly over the 1st floor back wall. Move that wall (2nd floor back wall) closer to the front (gabled wall) until the roof plane is where you want it.
-
Is it the invading/protruding part of the bedroom roof, into the vaulted living area, what you are referring to? The only way to fix that is to cover it with a carefully set sloped soffit. Place the soffit in the attic level, then drag it down. Placing it on the attic layer, will prevent it from hindering your view of the living area, when using the dollhouse view camera.

This is not perfect, but close. It is all done using only the tools available in Suite (except the gable millwork decorations). The garage roof is enabled by careful use of 2 invisible wall "rooms" with "no roof in this room" setting. One "room" is at the end of the porch (next to garage). The other "room" is on the back wall of the garage (adjacent to the porch). These "rooms" allow better control of the overhangs, that are causing trouble in that area.
-
This floor plan, in particular, requires some unconventional strategy to get auto build roof to work somewhat correctly. You will be doing a disservice to yourself if you do not also add the porch and the garage bump-out extension, when building this roof.
