    Split shed

Please post jpeg images, NOT PDF's.
  2. Whatever you misplaced in outer Mongolia, I couldn't find. Your 2d plan is also not centered on the xy center of the screen. To save yourself from ripping out hair, try this: Open a new plan and tile vertically beside original plan. Choose (tool bar) EDIT/ edit area, and marquee around the entire existing plan, and (tool bar) COPY. Reselect the NEW plan, (tool bar) PASTE, then center your curser between the side slider and lower slider bar (aka center of the screen), and Paste. All should be better now. Do a 'save as' (choose same name as old plan) and new plan is saved, and old plan is deleted. DONE.

    Automatic Heights

????? Open the stair dialog box and set the numbers as shown.

    Automatic Heights

However, you will find that if you compromise just a little bit, you can come really close to what you want.
  5. Like Solver said, you need to read up on the difference between the pattern dialog and the texture dialog.

    Removing Flooring

I think that you will need to be a LOT more descriptive, and will most likely need to post the plan file.
  7. You should be changing the terrain, not the floor elevation.
  8. You are not offering a 'Tip or Technique', you are asking a 'question' for help, and it does not belong in this topic category.
  9. This is what you need to set for a regular 3d view (the setting shown is close to a match for the 'pattern' setting that you have). But why is the bottom of the tub 18" above the floor? And why are there 3 different slabs over the tub?
  10. I was able to reproduce one of your posted pics by toggling OFF textures, as Solver suggested you might have done.
  11. On the toolbar, EDIT, down to the bottom, PREFERENCES. In the dialog box that opens, left side, down at the bottom, click on 'video card status'. Take a snip of the box that opens, and post it here.
  12. It IS the SAME tile, only better.
  13. Try adding this jpeg. It tiles better.
  14. I doubt that that would resolve the issue. Considering that you are able to paint Pro core materials, would seem to suggest that there is an issue with the way you are adding the file, or even the file itself.
  15. I believe that you have removed the sdxc (D) drive from your pc and then HD Pro can no longer find the file. When you moved the file onto a Windows folder, did you go to the NEW location of the file to re-add it to the library?
  16. Are you able to paint other textures from the library core materials to the backsplash?
  17. I see that 'SDXC' card is highlighted when you are choosing the jpeg file. Try moving the file to your pc in the 'my documents' or 'my pictures' folder. Then re-add the file to your library. Try it and see if it works.
  18. Suggestion: Pay more attention to the 'add floor' dialog box that pops up.
  19. Adding the jpeg file to the library, and then painting it to the backsplash, works like it's supposed to (when I tried it on your plan). The only thing I can suggest, is to delete the pattern from your library and then begin over (re-add the jpeg to the library). Maybe that will fix whatever went wrong. The soffit: If you zoom in real close (2d view) you can see the outline of the soffit (you changed it to a light yellow, and that's why you can't see it). Open the tool display for the 2d view, and change it back to the original grey. Why are you using a soffit for the step? Copy/paste the single step that you already have, position it, and it will automatically wrap.
  20. I see that you have the 'open below' room on floor 2 configured correctly to show the stair railing not connecting to a ceiling. So, have you figured out how to get the upper stair (2 steps) solid railing, with out having the wall connecting to the floor? In your pic, it looks as though you have?
  21. Did you go to 'Preferences' and not just the 'Reset to Defaults' option under the EDIT tool bar ? Also, right click in the tool bar area and make sure everything is checked. Other than that, read up on Tool Bars in the reference manual. And it does say that closing and re-starting the program (after resetting to defaults) is necessary for the changes to take effect.
  22. If this is what you want to see, then this is how to do it.
