    PL1 file format

I think that is a VERY old Home Designer file format. You should contact tech support to ask if there is still a way to open the file.
  2. You will need to place and shape individual landing steps.
  3. It would seem that you have deleted your previous posts, so now, no one can see what was posted or replied. You are not likely to get any help, by doing this. Did you watch the video tutorials?
  4. When you open the exterior house door (within HDPro), is it level with the interior floor?
  5. Tips & Techniques category, Is for sharing something you've learned, with others.
  6. Maybe an extended U shape stair?
  7. You need to learn some terminology, when you ask questions. I see NO dormer in the pic posted, only a gabled porch with no ceiling. ALSO, you need to fill out your signature, so that anyone trying to help, will always know which program (AND it's version) you are using.
  8. If you removed everything from the interior of the house (as you said), then the file size should be little more than 3mb. Far below the upload size limit.

    Low outside walls

You have not filled out your signature, so no-one knows which program (and it's version) you are using.

    Low outside walls

You should explain more about how your foundation is built.

    Low outside walls

If you give enough important information, then you will get good answers. If you set your ceiling height to 87", the door and windows will position correctly.
  12. Lowering the floor in HD Architectural resolves the problem. However, HD Pro behaves differently. Turn off auto rebuild roof, and delete the invisible walls. The floor will heal.
  13. Open the invisible room and lower the floor.

    Arched Ceiling?

The best looking arch is the door entry arch, which is a custom backsplash. BUT...it won't allow a recessed light. The arch in the middle is a cabinet valance, and the far right is an arbor arch shape (library). They both allow recessed lighting.
  15. Do you think maybe you should be contacting Home Designer support for help with this issue?
  16. Txcustom, Didn't Eric (solver) already do a video for you?
  17. Instead of doing it the correct way, why not just do it the easy way, by hiding it. Put a soffit or slab at ground level, and give it the grass material.
  18. ??? Not understanding why you can not see that? In the 1st glass house pic that you posted, you had it right.
  19. However, you haven't fixed the roof on the right side of the house.
  20. ??? P09 or P05. Figure it out.
  21. Is your wall aligned with the wall below? The 2nd glass house image does not match the roof of the 1st glass house image (on the right side).
  22. For auto build roof, read up on "salt box roof" in the Knowledge Base.
  23. If you really want help with a plan, you shouldn't leave the forum for 18 hours. Anyone wanting to help will lose interest. I can't view your plan, so this is a wild guess, using auto-build roof.
