Reinstall is probably the simplest. You will need to export, then import your user library, and if you have customized toolbars, you will need to save that folder, and move it, or copy the files to the new folder. Probably need to deactivate and then activate the new install. There is a KB article about moving to a new computer which should apply.

All I did was rebuild the foundation and the missing porch slab showed up. You probably need to use manual roof planes for the gable roof over the porch.

Please use a screen capture tool instead of a camera. Windows has the Snipping Tool. Mac systems should have something similar. Rebuild your foundation and suggest you leave auto rebuild on.

Looks like a bug, but I don't use this feature. You can place it manually, or if not using curtains, place as a curtain.

Start a new plan, draw 4 walls to form a room. Copy the problem window to the new plan. If the problem is still there, post the new plan.

That can't happen, but you can have 2 walls in the same space, like a first floor wall and an attic wall.

Copy your railing wall to the left and mark it No Room Def. Change the porch wall to invisible, then move the railing wall back. YMMV

It looks like you will need to use invisible walls like you did on the other part of the structure. Or upgrade to Chief ...

What "porch rail"?

Could you post a screen capture showing the problem? I'm not familiar with that version.

Locked how? What can't you do?

Use a Custom Backsplash instead of a Wall Covering. Read about Textures and Patterns and how they differ. Have you checked the Knowledge Base for articles? Knowledge Base

My mistake -- Pro only. I thought Architectural had this too.

You can use the auto tools to get the shape as you like, then trace the outside main layer with a CAD line. Delete the auto generated walls and using the wall type of your choice trace over the CAD lines. Walls easily snap to and follow CAD. Windows can only get so wide -- they will hit on the inside. Look under Window Defaults and make sure Minimum Separation is set to 0.

For the best control these objects need to be drawn manually. You can open the auto generated ones and make adjustments. Open the Materials panel and change the Exterior, for example.
