Those are Temporary Points. Search Help for more info.

What I noticed was the Roof Baseline just outside the wall and how it was different from the opposite side, not the misalignment. That made me think the wall was not aligned. I've sent this in to Chief as a bug.

You can do multiple videos in a single reply -- keeps things cleaner

I don't understand. I just used Pro 2020 to do what I did in Chief. Were you unable to do the same?

I'm sure you have considered all possibilities.

I always seem to fumble around with foundation problems like this but see if this helps. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/IyXkkP33-EQ?hd=1

A Room Divider wall set to be visible will also work. A 0" thick Room Divider will snap to the cabinet in plan, then use Transform/Replicate to move it in towards the cabinet. Use the center tool to center the doors on the cabinet.

A short followup on dimensioning and how to show a problem for the best help. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/Wu1yEhPG6_g?hd=1

Because the program as installed is set up to automatically place Auto Dimensions, I'm guessing users might miss out on using Temporary Dimensions. I dislike the clutter of automatic dimensions (interior and exterior) while working on a plan, so I rely on Temporary Dimensions. There are times when a Temporary Dimension will not pickup where I want to dimension from, so in those cases, I'll use a manual dimension, sometimes coupled with a CAD line, then delete the manual dimension. Once you set a walls length, you don't need to see its length -- trust that it is correct and will remain so. I draw complete houses using only temporary dimensions, and only add (manual) dimensions at the end of the process -- or when a temporary dimension is not picking up the point I want to adjust from, and then that manual dimension is deleted.

Try this. Go to Edit>Delete Objects Choose all floors and check Automatic and Manual dimensions. Learn to trust Temporary Dimensions, and trust yourself to enter things correctly. Once you have changed each wall, then, if you feel you need them, add dimensions

The default setting is to show textures, not patterns. Patterns apply to other views too, not only vector.
-
If you draw your walls in a clockwise direction, and then select each one, again going clockwise and change the dimension, you should not need the move start and move end arrows. Could you post a screen capture showing the problem and saying what you are trying to do?

When you go to the website to download the update, there is a PDF on the same page that contains that list.

I don't understand what you are asking. What difference does a preliminary plan or a temporary layout make? What are you trying to accomplish with a "temporary layout"?

See if this helps -- and read up on Patterns vs Textures

Isn't that how it would be built? You can always add a floor creating a room above.

Moved entry over to align with living. Stairs to the right.

I think the KB article is wrong.

What are you trying to do with the terrain? Have you already created the plot plan using CAD tools?

Close the program. Open a command window (see video) and paste this string. Press Return to execute. Reboot. Rundll32.exe fthsvc.dll,FthSysprepSpecialize Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/d-HlKJHu9u8?hd=1
