Keep in mind the Home Designer website has many videos and articles available. It's a good place to start your search for help. The Reference Guide may be helpful too. With Pro, you can manually create the dormers, explode an Auto Dormer which is often easier than getting the auto dormers to work. I have a dormer video or 2 on my YouTube channel.

I cannot see the details good enough to do a video, but in general would do this. Make a spindle and Transform/Replicate it across. Make the arched bottom piece. Drag the bottom of the spindles up. Block together.

You have created a Roof Baseline Polyline. Go to Edit>Delete Objects and delete it, then build the roof.

I don't have Pro 2019, so this is Pro 2020. You can vary the width of the beam by changing the thickness of the wall. Don't know of a way to change the height of the beam. You could draw these things manually with the slab tool and they would look correct. Use a Room Divider to form the room. Showing a 16" column and with a 16" thick wall.

Have you looked through the Library, and checked the Bonus Catalogs available on the website for components. I'm not sure what's available, but you might find something that will work. Another option is to use another program like SketchUp to create the parts Suite cannot. Google 3D Warehouse for SketchUp symbols that could be imported.

Check Help for line weight. The software is designed with convenience features, like auto joining of walls, that sometimes get in the way. No way to turn this off.

About 2 -1/2 hours Northeast on the Rim at 6500 ft. 3000 or so full time residents, grows to about 12,000 in the summer as people escape the valley heat. It's not clear from your rather small image what the problem is. Could you add some text and an arrow in the plan and then attach it? Close the program first.
