  1. Pro has single page layouts, so typically you create an electrical plan with things displayed as you want, then send that plan to layout. Open a new layout and send foundation, open a new layout and do framing etc. What are you wanting to do that is different than this?
  2. Using Layer Display Options, you can turn on/off the display of things you want/don't want to see. Add your electrical, then turn this layer off when you don't want to see these items.
  3. Why not? You can define the ceiling structure to be what you need, I believe.

  8. If you really feel you need a 3D representation, it's easy enough to do it manually. This would typically be detailed in a 2D section of a wall.
  9. You can. I have 8 trial versions installed of various titles.
  10. Sorry, Architectural does not have that feature -- another Pro only tool. Try changing that wall to an interior wall type, then use a Custom Backsplash on the exterior above to create a surface to apply siding to.
  11. The room above the garage has a short ceiling height. Guessing you did that to get the roof where you wanted it, with either auto or manual roof planes. The program sees everything above as attic. Once the roof is correct, or if you are using manual roofs, raise the ceiling to where it should be. Like David mentioned, no need to be building framing until the end of the process, but it is good to leave Auto Rebuild Foundation on, so as you move walls the foundation responds. Check your 2nd floor walls too as several don't align with the walls below. I'd also suggest auto building the roof, until it becomes too much effort to get just what you want, then switch to manual.
  12. It does -- it does it automatically. You just cannot specify the insulation. I don't understand this. Start a new plan. Draw 4 Siding-6 walls to form a room. Build framing if it's not already and take a 3D framing overview.
  13. So you want multiple layers of insulation within the stud bay. I cannot think of a way to show that, and I'm not sure you need it. This is the materials list for a default wall and it shows wall insulation. Isn't this really all you need to calculate your materials?
  14. Are you saying there will be no insulation in the stud bays?
  15. You cannot change this in Suite.

What are you trying? Show some pictures (screen captures) so we see what you see.
  20. Draw a truss, open it and change the settings. That said, you would not normally have a roof truss built like that. Your truss package will be designed by the truss manufacturer based on your plan, but not on any trusses shown in the plan.
  21. You have drawn roof trusses that are interfering with the framing. Here I deleted them and built roof framing.
  22. Please post images directly -- no need to make a PDF of an image. This makes it easier for others as an image shows in the forum. Generally, with structural issues someone will need the plan file to see what's going on. Why is having framing important to you? Have you tried drawing the dormers manually, or exploding an auto dormer and drawing manual roofs etc.
