What walls are Half Walls? Try this. Start a new plan and draw the T shaped structure using Exterior walls. Change the 3 red walls to full gable. The roof should auto build, but if not, build the roof.
-
Figure how it would be done within the program, then see if Architectural has that ability.
-
These are easy to do, just think through the steps required. Roofs build over rooms, so adjust the ceiling height up or down as needed, and draw in rooms, even if they are not part of the plan to control the roof. When it's correct, turn off auto Rebuild Roofs.

Maximize the software window. Double click on the title bar (blue bar at the top of the window).

Houzz and Gardenweb -- same owners. The site navigation is poor and they keep changing it making it worse. https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/kitchbath

You just need to experiment and see what works best for your application. What specifically are you having trouble with?
-
You can draw your own ceiling planes.

Paste Hold Position No. They could be modeled -- I'd use Custom Countertops for the treads and Custom Backsplash for the stringers. I've used 2 stairs next to each other to simulate.
-
Have you considered an alternating tread stair? Looks like you could squeeze in a full bath.

I see David has already done a video ... Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/po8n7IvX3Xw?hd=1

I don't think auto dormers will work here. Sometimes the program just does not automatically do what you want so you need to take over and do it manually.
-
And we can be more helpful if you attach the plan file (close Pro first).
-
Keep in mind the Home Designer website has many videos and articles available. It's a good place to start your search for help. The Reference Guide may be helpful too. With Pro, you can manually create the dormers, explode an Auto Dormer which is often easier than getting the auto dormers to work. I have a dormer video or 2 on my YouTube channel.

Search my YouTube channel for backsplash. Wedge Shape from the library. No way to use a slab.
-
Check the various Arch settings for the door.

Custom Backsplash, Wall Covering, Soffit, Slab

I cannot see the details good enough to do a video, but in general would do this. Make a spindle and Transform/Replicate it across. Make the arched bottom piece. Drag the bottom of the spindles up. Block together.
-
Use a Custom Backsplash. Search my YouTube channel for more info.

Have you considered working with a professional -- an Architect or talented designer?
-
You have created a Roof Baseline Polyline. Go to Edit>Delete Objects and delete it, then build the roof.
-
The simple answer is manual roofs, but if you will attach the plan file (close Pro first), I'll take a look.

Do all the 2nd floor rooms have Roof Over This Room checked?
-
I don't have Pro 2019, so this is Pro 2020. You can vary the width of the beam by changing the thickness of the wall. Don't know of a way to change the height of the beam. You could draw these things manually with the slab tool and they would look correct. Use a Room Divider to form the room. Showing a 16" column and with a 16" thick wall.
