  1. I believe in another of your threads I linked the Seeking Services thread on ChiefTalk. Are you building in Idaho or Washington?

    ADA

You can view the Bonus Libraries and see for yourself.
  3. I never think of this because almost no one changes it. Put a checkmark in the box.
  4. Attach the plan file. Zip if needed. 14MB size limit.
  5. How about posting a screen capture (3D view) showing the deck.
  6. Pretty dumb, isn't it. Moldings are associated with rooms, so for a wall to get automatic moldings, it needs to be one of the walls that define a room. One workaround is to use a Custom Countertop drawn in the shape of the wall. Add your moldings to it.
  7. The red lines are a result of showing the Reference Display layer set, and the lines may be any color you choose. You need to manually turn this on or off, they don't just appear Think about what that outline might represent.
  8. Go to the attic level. You probably have invisible walls there (because you originally used a Room Divider). Let the program fix it. Build>Floor>Delete Current Floor
  9. It's not really clear from your image what the problem is. I'll suggest you create another floor for the raised area. Make the room Open Below.
  10. As you have discovered, these need to be placed manually. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/forum/15-seeking-services/ And be clear you want someone local and are using Pro 2021 and doing ICF.
  11. All someone needs is a very simple plan. Four exterior walls with a single interior wall. Also, the structure you are wanting. Basement, crawl, slab -- type of foundation walls, if any, and anything else that will help others understand. Take a look at the image I posted above. If you open Defaults and find Interior Wall, you can set the wall to have a footing. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "foundation under them". The program was designed for standard stick framed construction. It does not know what an ICF wall is, so you will need to learn the program well enough to work around its limitations.
  12. Your question makes me think you are unfamiliar with building things like a deck. I encourage you to have someone review your plan and not simply rely on the software to correctly generate the structure. If your deck needs a railing, or is built up off the ground, there are code related specs that need to be considered, and depending where you are, you may need a building permit.

    radiant floor

Select one, look in the Status Bar (runs across the bottom of the screen).
  14. The materials list has a description for each line item. Why the need to relate the 3D to the materials list?

    layers

Your "drawing" isn't on a specific layer. The objects the make up your model all have an associated layer. Open Display Options and take a look.
  16. I do not know, but just guessing, you probably cannot.
  17. You cannot simply delete a break point. Instead, drag it to the next break.

    Roof issue

Attach the plan file and more pictures of the actual house -- details are critical when working with roofs in Architectural and Suite. A picture taken from here looking up at the corner, and one from in front of the house maybe standing in front of the blue car would be a good start. And what is the pitch? Is it the same for all roof planes? Sometimes it is, sometimes not.
  19. I looked and still have no idea. Works as expected in a new plan. I'd contact support and send them the file.
  20. You have the ability to define walls. For the wall where the blue siding shows, define a new wall type if there is not one that will work. Change that wall to use your new or existing wall type. The program works best when you set defaults first, then begin drawing. Give it your best effort, and if you still have problems, attach the plan file (close Pro first). And here is a architectural suggestion. If you have room, consider this detail. A roof plane that dies into a sidewall like you show just doesn't look correct.
  21. I've never seen this or know how to make this happen, or know how to correct it. When you started this plan did you use the Default Style, or one of the other templates? Attach the plan file (close Suite first) and someone will take a look.
  22. Layer Display Options controls the visibility of things and there is one for each camera type.
