Set the curved walls to No Room Definition.
-
Open a wall --> Structure Wall Intersections.
-
If that's checked and it's not showing, run a Plan Check.
-
Open the Build Roof dialog and review the settings. And for roof questions, it's key to say auto or manual roofs.
-
Suggest you contact the Home Designer folks directly.
-
You are loosing room definition. Check your wall connections.
-
You can only define rooms on numbered floors. Don't understand the problem with auto walls. Maybe a picture or two?
-
No. The simplest way to handle this is to copy the plan file and then change the display settings.

That is correct.

There are new hardware requirements for 2022, specifically video, and especially if you are using a Mac. Suggest you create a test plan and make sure everything works when rendering in the various modes. If you do have problems, and do not choose to upgrade, I'd inquire about a license for 2021. And remember, once a plan is started in 2022, there is no going back with that plan.

If the tower is just a high ceiling room, then raise the ceiling. No Bahama shutters in any of the Chief Architect/Home Designer products. You can draw one in another program like Sketchup and import. Might be some other ideas via a forum search.

Please attach images directly -- no need to encapsulate them in another file.

Experiment with Edit Area.

Slab tool, or ...
-
I'd use something like a soffit or slab for the poles. Don't know an automated way to do this.

This is the first mention of this that I have seen, and testing with your file shows you have identified a problem. Until it's fixed, Use Edit Area to copy from your Architectural plan opened in Pro to a new Pro file.
-
Does that solve your problem?

What does the PDF look like?
-
Open a window and review the options/settings.

Countertop Or use a Shelf Ceiling.

No need for interior walls when manually creating a dormer. You will need to draw this wall manually, then set it to Roof Cuts Wall At Bottom.
