The software does not work as you are thinking. If you want to maintain a specific camera view, like an elevation or 3D view, you need to save the active camera. Plans always open in plan view, you then manually open other views using a new or saved camera.

The Auto Roof Builder uses ceiling height to determine where roof planes go. Posting images and your plan file (close Pro first) will help others help you.

Could you post a drawing or other showing what you want to do? With Suite, it needs to be as accurate as possible.

Which version (Suite, Pro etc) are you using?

Did you build the framing too -- checkbox just above. And generate a new materials list. Not sure you can in Pro.

You may have found a bug. I needed to manually specify stud spacing in the build framing dialog.

Place a door in a wall, open it, see the Arch panel, adjust arch to fit door.

Check all the walls -- No Room Definition cannot be checked. Probably 2nd floor walls that were automatically built by the program.

Help us by posting some images. You might also experiment with a 2nd floor Open Below room. Same idea as described above.

You can modify how a truss builds, but you do not have exact control. If you need an accurate representation consider using the CAD tools to draw one. Cross sections are printed the same as other views by sending to Layout.

The simple way is an Inverted Wedge from the library.

I've not looked at the plan, but 2 suggestions. Manual roofs, or move the levels of the garage up one floor and then adjust the absolute heights to move things where they need to be.

Standard, vector ... Only Standard will show transparent glass, but can be set to show opaque glass -- see Technique Options. You might have painted the glass too. Check Materials on a window and make sure it shows correctly. This is from Chief so it shows more options than Pro.
