  1. I believe those are Architectural Blocks. Explode it (select it, edit toolbar) and the parts become independent objects.
  2. Have you considered a Backclipped Cross Section?
  3. Could you post a sketch of what you want?
  4. Post your plan with your best effort and I'll take a look. This roof can be done simply with manual roof planes too. Set the porches to not have a roof, then Auto build. Draw in the porch roofs manually.
  5. The videos always show Pro, so there will be more options. You need to make settings in walls to build a shed roof. Under Build Roof, look at Roof Styles for info.
  6. Try opening a wall and setting it to use default (check the box). Post plan if this does not work.
  7. Open Help and search toggle textures. I'm sure it's in Suite as your image shows no textures -- everything is just a solid color.
  8. I'm guessing you have textures toggled off.
  9. Could you attach images (screen captures) so we see what you see, and say which frame and artwork you are using.
  10. Because soffits are just a box shape with a few special properties. They are not walls. Try placing a register away from a wall. Then manually position it -- rotate/drag, open it and set the height.
  11. Don't think there is a way -- not even in Chief.
  12. First project I did in Pro. Used standard roof truss. You can use a Custom Backsplash. Draw it against a wall, then move. If you want the wood grain correct, use multiple backsplashes -- one for each member and a material rotated to the correct angle.
  13. Manual dormers and manual roof planes, or explode the dormers you have and edit.

    Changing Pitch

Select all the roof planes, open them and change.
  15. You can shape the terrain in HD to match the SketchUp model, or place items (plants etc) on the flat terrain, then open it and raise its position.

More coffee? Your walls are set as invisible and Siding-6.

    Bow Windows

I believe it is. I'd recommend not using the Box/Bay/Bow built in window tools as what they generate has limits on what may be changed, unless you need exactly what they do build.
  18. I think as you said above, a reinstall may fix the problem. If you delete the template directories -- there are 2, one is a backup copy, and then do an install with the repair option, you should get the latest templates. Look in Preferences and you will find a list of directories where things are stored. there should be a button to Show All or similar. One of the first things I did after buying Pro was to modify the default template (profile.plan at the time, probably still the same). It's just a regular plan file so you can open and save it like any other plan, although you may need to change the permissions so it can be overridden. You can change defaults, like window styles, foundation settings etc, and when you start a new plan using that template, all the defaults will be set.
  19. Start with Edit>Reset To Defaults. Choose All Floors and Roof Directives in Walls. Then follow this trail for some relevant info.
  20. Same problem as you -- cannot get the camera to not display. Try this plan. camera test.plan
  21. Attach that file and I'll have a look.
  22. Are you using the default template profile.plan or one of your own? The video above is using the out of box defaults for the Pro 2020 trial. Yours should work the same unless you've changed something.
  23. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/rrOBU33IN0M?hd=1
  24. Like what? That roof should easily auto build given correct settings.
