Copy and delete everything but the structure.

Is the wall marked as invisible? Is there anything under the wall to hold it up? Normally an end truss goes over a wall. It seems to be. Maybe post the plan file?

I don't really understand what you are asking, but I'll guess. There is a living area label that shows the total square feet. You would like it to show only the new room instead of the entire structure. For each room, you may exclude it from the total square feet. Open a room and review the General panel.

No already built plan that I know of. There are some good hour long webinars on the Chief YouTube channel linked above that go over a start to finish project, and there is a tutorial linked via the Help menu.

Upgrades are on sale now -- $69 for the latest version of Suite, $395 for the latest version of Pro. What sort of "design" are you wanting to do? I cannot imagine using anything other than Pro, but you may not need its features. Same with Architectural. Upgrade if you need something it offers.

There is no magic in a stairwell, it's just an Open Below room. Draw walls on the floor above to form a room over the stairs. Make the room type Open Below.

You can shape a slab or custom countertop and apply your choice of materials.

Going forward, please post images directly (take a screen capture) -- no need to make a PDF of an image. This makes it easier for others as an image shows in the forum. Is the porch a slab? Do you want to see footings/stem walls etc on the foundation level?

What does the porch look like? What do you want to see on the foundation? In plan or a 3D view?
