I have not been able to emulate how this gable blends or seems to "disappear" into the hip structure. I really like this look and would appreciate any help in achieving this design for my plan. I particularly like how the hip structure appears to bump-out to form the roof return of the gable. The structure I'm trying to emulate: The picture of my plan that's was modified and posted: Someone on Chief Talk accomplished this, posted a picture of it, but didn't give any insight into how they did it.
