  1. I add Standing Seam roofing to a couple of roof planes. Is this more like what you are looking for?
  2. 12 feet of snow? Could you explain what the need is? That is, why you need something showing corrugations?
  3. Last time I looked, there was no signature and no picture. When you edit a post, like to add a picture, it does not show up in the forum as changed. Anyway, see if this helps.
  4. Nope, at least not all together. He could probably export the plan, then export each individual 3D object. You would need to recombine after tracing over the plan.
  5. You typically provide dimensioned Elevations. Dimensions need to be applied manually.
  6. What "Interior Design Tutorial" are you referring to? If you search the forum for "tray ceiling" (with the quotes) you will find info to get you started.

I'll be more helpful if you do upgrade. Trying to force the program to do things it doesn't want to do is no longer fun

Only if you are willing to learn the manual roof tools.
  9. You can sometimes use a 2nd stair, sized so that it is buried within the real stair, to provide a non standard rail. Make it narrow, maybe 2", railing on 1 side etc. Stairs are a pain when doing anything that is not the default way.
  10. Not sure where you would use a kneewall. Is the shape you show correct? You can attach the plan file -- close Suite first and zip.
  11. Right now, 1 USD = 1.3 AUD -- I see the problem. And yes, what I show above was done in Chief. The problem is that Pro imports all symbols drawn in other than Chief as a fixture. You cannot model this in SketchUp, for example and import as a cabinet door. Your only option is to have someone create the symbol in Chief, but that can get expensive too. Work hard, increase your prices so you can upgrade

Roof questions almost always require someone have the plan file to work with. Close Architectural before attaching. If this is an existing house, pictures of the roof will also be helpful.
  14. If this is an existing house, pictures of the roof. Attaching the plan file, close Suite first, will help someone help you. Roof problems in Suite rarely have a "just click this setting" solution.
  15. There are lots of videos available on the Home Designer website and on the Chief Architect YouTube channel. Also articles that walk you through many common task.
  16. How did you do that? You should change the Absolute values.
  17. Reinstall, choose the Repair option. If that fails, uninstall and then install. If that fails, contact Chief Architect.
  18. This is a cabinet door symbol so it works open at any angle. I did this one quickly so it's not perfect. I don't think you can do this in Pro. Are you still using Pro 2020?
