  1. Probably, but you might contact Chief to make sure. You could also download the Architectural trial and try it for yourself.
  2. That's because there is no way to adjust this.
  3. Have you built wall and roof framing, and set them to display? That's the default -- you will need to change it to whatever you want.
  4. Read about Roof Cuts Wall at Bottom, and Lower Wall Type When Split by Butting Roof. Probably best to have a view from inside showing what the missing wall is supposed to look like.
  5. Think about what needs to change to do this -- what you need to remove. Walls are easy.
  6. Is this an existing structure? Is the new room just a part of a garage, or will it be built differently? If the wall is dividing a garage, then name both spaces garage.
  7. Did you change the room type of the newly created room?
  8. Read about Patterns and Textures. You must find or create an image that represents your desired look. If you want a running bond tile texture, that's what you need to use when creating a new material.
  9. Experiment with the Custom Backsplash tool. Take an elevation, draw the background (you don't need to do individual panels) with Cut Finish Layers set, then draw the styles and rails with Cut Finish Layers unchecked.
  10. Read about Trim Framing to Soffit. If that does not work, attach the plan file.
  11. Don't understand what you want. Could you draw over your image showing correct wall and rafters?
  12. Probably because it's a .png with transparency. Make a .jpg and try it.
  13. The walls need to be close, like overlapping. Yes, just move the wall.
  14. You can get walls close, then look in the Edit Toolbar for this tool while a wall is selected.
  15. Look under the 3D menu. You can customize your toolbars and place buttons like this where you want. I've never known of that not working, but it must be done. Have you tried auto building the roof? It won't build correctly, but should be a good start. That's the sort of thing that needs to be fixed. Get as much of the model correct as you can, then work on any problems. Generally, the cleaner the model, the fewer problems, and you can spend lots of time trying to fix something that the software will correct once all the pieces are in place.

If it's sized and positioned correctly, you can explode it and then work with its parts.

What do you want to control?
  18. You need to specify different fronts for each unique color. Copy and change the name is enough. Use this to assign the new drawer.
