There are threads discussing saltbox and cape cod roofs. Suggest a forum search to start. If you don't find a solution, post back here.

Not sure about that -- will reply if I think of something.

Experiment with these settings.

Did not look in the reference manual, but that for that symbol, you cannot change the shape of individual parts. If you need something different, you will need to model it yourself from individual parts.

Cannot read the message -- best to capture part of the screen instead of the whole thing. Have you rebooted your system?

No image. Draw ceiling plane, adjust thickness. What are you having trouble doing?
-
That's the best way -- what's the problem with that method? Parapets often have a cap, and you can use a Ceiling Plane for that if needed.

Do not use the Dormer tools, create the dormer manually. I have a couple of videos on my YouTube channel that might help.

Preferences and Defaults are different. Things like ceiling heights are set in Defaults. The default 1st floor ceiling height is 9'. Just add 1' to whatever is shown in defaults.

I used manual roof tools for this part of the roof. everything else you can do with Architectural. In your first image above, you had the roof in this shape, so maybe it can all be done without using the manual roof tools. With Pro, the roof would be easy because you have the tools.

What's correct for the ceiling -- 96"? And remember, you have manual roof tools in Pro. For a simple project like this where auto roofs don't behave, manual is quick and will give you what you want.

If you will attach the plan file -- close the program first, it will help someone troubleshoot.
-
Close Pro and attach the plan file.
-
Raise the roof or lower the ceiling.
-
Pro has all the tools you need.
-
Easier to troubleshoot with your plan file. Close Pro before you upload.
