Open Help -- Search "Material List"

I encourage you to send this in to tech support. I've looked, even redrawn your plan in Chief Premier and the roof does not build as expected. The roofs build only if the ceiling height is lowered.
-
Where do you want the gable wall -- over the garage wall? Mine is set back some which I think looks better.
-
Have you tried an archive file -- one of the automatic backups?
-
It's quicker for us to provide help if you will upload the plan file. Make sure it's closed in Suite. Otherwise we are just guessing. Only the 2 side walls need to be Full Gable.
-
Make sure they are aligning to the correct layer. You changed some settings while working on your house, I believe. Don't know if these are preferences or defaults. When I added a 2nd floor here, there were no misalignments. My 2nd floor also formed a room.

This thread is from 2014 -- last post in August.

Use Edit>Edit Area>Edit Area to copy the first floor plan. Open a new plan and paste it. Build a 2nd floor.

3 is supposed to be the same as clicking the break roof icon. I do much roof editing in camera view and find that it does not always work, but rotating the plan so I have a different angle on the roof plane always works. So, select a roof plane, 3, then click where to break -- just like you would if clicking the icon.

That's just what I did. I drew in a room on the second floor, set the ceiling height to 1-1/2" which gives a 0" finished height. After your roof is finalized, you could turn off auto rebuild roofs and delete the 3 back walls. For the most accurate representation, you would draw the new roof in manually. This would place the new roof planes on top of the old as it would be built. I have been assuming that this project is to get the design worked out, and you will then work with a contractor who will produce construction drawings as needed. You are building a model for looks rather than for structure.
-
Something like this? Think about what this is. It's really a second floor room with no walls. This would also be easy to draw with the manual roof tools.
-
I'm unclear on your exact issue, but you may do a File>Save As at any time. Simply give the new version a new name in the directory of your choice.
-
This is a question much better suited to a forum like you will find on Houzz.com.

Set the pitch for the house in the build roof dialog, then set the pitch for the carport in one of its walls. Pitch set via a wall will override the default pitch. With Pro, you have the ability to draw manual roof planes too.

I should have said "Search the Forum for Island Outlet". This was discussed and answered previously.
-
I figured it was an Automatic Wall. Sometimes convincing the program they are not needed is not easy. Your correct 2nd floor wall is likely to still be there, it's just hidden. If you will post your plan file, I'll have a look. Make sure it's not open in Home Designer, and you may Zip it, if the file size is large.

Tom, did you get my private message? I did a couple of videos and sent you the links. Click the envelope icon at the top of the page so read it, if you haven't.
-
Glad you got things going, and thanks for reporting back.
-
The Living Area Label will show this. Preferences>Plan
-
Click on the wall in a camera view and delete it. If that really removes the wall, just undo.
-
Don't know what else might turn them on.
-
Search for "island outlet".

Are there any Full Gable setting in place?
-
I posted some links above. Go to the Knowledge Base, search for porch. A porch is just a room like any other room in the house. Give it a Room Type of Porch. After you have drawn the porch -- For the foundation, there is a foundation wall tool. On the foundation level, use this tool to draw in foundation walls under the porch. Use the Reference Display to see the walls above.
