I believe the picture shows small windows stacked over larger ones. I'm not able to see any divided light windows in the picture.

I don't think you can create your roof with Home Designer or Chief Architect. I will keep thinking about it.

It's not clear from your description, or the image, what you want to do. It looks like the right side has a steeper pitch than the left.

Have you tried your Digital Locker?

This will happen if there is an object far from the structure. In Plan View, do a Control-A to select everything. That usually will show you where the object is.

You most likely have a wall there on the attic level. The software does not always delete the attic walls itself after you set Balloon Through on the wall below. Go to the Attic level and delete it. Tip: The software automatically builds attic walls, but does not delete them when no longer needed. While working on a project where walls are moving around, the attic level can fill up with these walls. While on the Attic level, you can Delete Current Floor, and the program will automatically rebuild only what it needs.

The break lines take seconds to do, not sure what the video shows. Draw a Rectangular Polyline and shape one edge as required. This is used to mask any lines you do not want to see. Trace over the break shape on the polyline with a line to form the break line. Select the Rectangular Polyline and change its border color to white. Use the same idea to form the dirt, only change the fill as required. As for alignment tools, Home Designer does not have any. You will often need to draw CAD lines and use dimensions or a tool like Point to Point Move, or manually drag the object, snapping it to something.

Once I turned on all layers, i was able to turn off the layers I did not want. I my case I turned off everything except Walls, Normal and Base Cabinets and they were still visible. I then turned on Soffits and they were visible too. I did this in the Pro 2019 trial. It worked as expected in Chief Premier. Suggest you report to support.

Please explain what you are wanting to do. What is "cut off the rest of the sections"? Again, what are you wanting to do? The center tool works with multiple objects. What do you want to "justify", and how?

You may have found a bug. Try this. Switch to the Wall Elevation. In Layer Display Options, Select All, then set all to display. You should see the wall and everything else. If not, use the Fill Screen tool. Now in Layer Display Options, select all, then deselect Base Cabinets and Walls, Normal. Set everything to not display. All that should be checked to display is Walls, Normal and Base Cabinets. You should see the wall and the base cabinet. Set Soffits to display and they should show. Set Fixtures, Interior to show and you should see the toilet.

I've not looked at your plan, but check these settings.

Not that I know of. Place a cabinet against the wall and see if it shows.

Please take the time to review the video/videos linked in your other post. It's clear you are a new user and do not understand how the program works. Your answer and much more may be found in the documentation and other resources I posted.

This is just a guess -- when you build a foundation, the display switches to the foundation level. See what I have circled in red? It's on level 0. Go up to level 1 and you may find your plan. Otherwise, post a screen capture so we see what you see.

I'd call and talk to Chief sales. You would need Chief Architect, not Home Designer to access that catalog. SSA is only available for the Chief Architect branded products.

Display where? In plan view, camera view? Reference display seems to show a gable wall above in your image.

The "slant roof" is a shed roof. What is a "reverse gable"? And what specifically is wrong with your model?

Draw a post, then resize it from a 4x4 to a 2x. Take an elevation view of the post and size in vertically. Once it's as you want, Transform/Replicate to copy it to your other joist/rafters. I'm curious why you are trying to model this framing condition. If you are submitting plans for permitting, a CAD detail showing one such assembly should suffice.

You need to stick to the Home Designer site -- it's blue themed. And to minimize confusion, you are new to Home Designer, not Chief Architect.

This may give you some ideas. 2 wall types, columns are 8" concrete, walls between are pony walls.

You cannot combine SketchUp and native objects. There are limited layer options -- turn on or off only.
