    Material Painter

    Tap the space bar.
  2. Make sure your graphics card driver is current. What is "not allowed"? Are you asking about Temp Dimensions, a Manual Dimension or Auto Dimensions?
  3. You can copy into a new metric based plan, but the dimensions will be wrong. Experiment using a simple plan -- one room on one floor, maybe one window and one door. Use Edit Area to select everything then paste into the new plan. Chief does not do this either.
  4. Have you searched the Chief site? https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/

    Barn doors

Your question isn't clear. You position the barn door symbol as required -- manually.
  7. All titles should allow this. Set the height of the item, then select it and holding Control (Ctrl key, or Command on Mac), drag it into place.
  8. Have you checked the bonus catalogs on the Home Designer site, or searched the 3D Warehouse (google it for the link).
  9. Check the 3D Warehouse (google it).

    Labels locked

Works as expected in my Pro 2019 trial copy. You might try an uninstall then install and if you still have issues, contact support.
  11. Check the level you are on -- it must be the same as the terrain. Plants, for example, will work from any level, but the other things will not.
  12. None of the Home Designer products have this ability.
  13. Are you aware this is HomeTalk, the forum for Home Designer, not Chief Architect?
  14. Are you the same rockyshepheard that has been posting on ChiefTalk?
  15. Please post images directly -- no need to make a PDF of an image. This makes it easier for others as an image shows in the forum. You can attach moldings to soffits and custom countertops. Sometimes one of these objects is helpful when molding attached to a cabinet does not work.
  16. I was suggesting the new design, not the as built. What are you planning for the house under the new roof?
  17. Run a Plan Check. Tools>Checks>Plan Check (may be different in Suite). You can ignore any/all warnings.

    Roof Problem

After you build the roof with Ignore Top Floor, does it look correct? If so, then move the roof planes up.

    Roof Problem

My edit toolbar has been moved -- yours is probably still at the bottom left. If you right click the center selection handle, you get the same items that are in the edit toolbar.

    Roof Problem

There are 2 ways around this. 1) Turn off the display of roof planes. (Layer Display Options). 2) Turn off Auto Rebuild Roofs, select all the roof planes and click the Display On Floor Above icon in the Edit Toolbar.

    Roof Problem

It's not clear just what you want to do, but I'll take a guess. Check Ignore Top Floor in the build roof dialog.
  22. You can only show total area per floor. Is your Living Area Label showing? A search within the Help system should tell you about it.
  23. You should call and talk to someone at Chief Architect, send them an email, or post your question in Sales Related Questions.
