  1. thanks Eric - that worked a treat. First attempt (a little rough...)
  2. I'm a newbie with chief architect, but I have read the manual, and spent quite a few hours trying different ways of getting my roof to work. Without success... The house has two , single storied cabins at a 45 degree angle, with a two storied atrium/glasshouse between them. There is a mezzanine floor, which should have views in all directions. I've attached three screenshots from sketch up. I'm having trouble with defining the side walls on the atrium - they have a tendency to not meet the roof. I've defining the roof as a drop roof. In the file attached, the roof of the atrium does not draw at all (although I think I've correctly defined the gable and high shed sides). Any advice on defining the sloping glass roof, and dealing with the gable sides would be gratefully received. Untitled 1.plan
