You will need to explain what problems you are having. You may have trouble with some of the details like the 2nd floor railing, but for the structure itself, I see no problems. I found this column which looks close enough in the standard library.
-
Can you show what you want to model? There are many types of columns.
-
Have you reviewed the available Bonus Catalogs? https://www.chiefarchitect.com/3d-library/go/?family=Home Designer
-
It's helpful to see pictures if what you want to model. What's preventing you from doing these things?
-
Have you tried updating your video card driver? Do you understand how to do a screen capture? It would be helpful to see your screen showing the problem.
-
I see nothing wrong here.
-
Make sure your video card driver is up to date. If that does not fix the problem, contact Chief Architect.
-
Is this a new problem?
-
Attaching a screen capture so we see what you see is helpful too. A problem on your system may not show on other systems.
-
You might say/post images so we know what you are doing. Have you reviewed the documentation? Probably some info in the Knowledge Base.
-
The Home Designer window is larger than your screen -- note the missing status bar/scroll bar at the bottom.
-
Adding images (screen captures) will show others what you see. Attaching the plan file -- close the software first, will also help.
-
I'm guessing you don't need any walls marked High Shed Gable. Try just Full Gable. What is it supposed to look like? Post the plan for the best help -- close Pro first.
-
What does it need to look like? Use a Shelf, Slab, Custom Countertop or Google 3D Warehouse to find a symbol that may work. Also check the Bonus Catalogs available on the Home Designer site.
-
@KLSmith Best to start a new Topic, and explain what you are trying to do. Pictures will help.

A Slab. Build>Slab

Tried what? Here are 2 slabs that I shaped.

You are seeing a dimension line. Select the far left dimension as shown. Note the circled spot where that dimension has located a corner far down the side. Select that diamond and drag it down to the corner pointed to by the arrow. Not sure why it's doing that. I'd send the plan in for Chief to look at. https://support.chiefarchitect.com/home

Posting a simple plan file will help with quick and correct answers. Close Pro first.

Help w/ Adding trim/crosshead above windows in home designer pro 2019? polyline?
solver replied to lknbigfish's topic in Q&A
In Plan View, select the soffit and open it. Set its size and location. Take a Cross Section. Select the soffit, open and set size and location, drag it, use Transform/Replicate to position it. -
You can use Edit>Reset To Defaults to clean things up.
-
It's usually helpful to post the plan file. Close the software first.

Under build wall framing (not defaults) you have this checked. I unchecked it before changing the defaults. Forgot to include that bit of info -- occupied with cooking dinner ...
