Nope.

Try this.

Ceiling planes edit just like manual roof planes. They need to be continuous (connected etc) for a truss to generate correctly above them. Work on getting the ceiling planes in place and then try the trusses. If you continue to have problems, post the plan with your best effort on the ceiling -- It's a pain to try to interpret a written description on where an object like a ceiling plane needs to go.
-
You do understand to place the ceiling planes first, then build the truss? Does your plan have correct ceiling planes defined where you want the trusses?
-
I don't think so. You can try using a landing, or slabs/soffits/custom countertops etc.

I would use Soffits instead of a terrain object. -

Which one? What did you change? Did you watch my video? And make sure your video card driver is up to date.

Give it a try. All the tools are there, it's just the program is designed for conventional construction, so you will need do do some things manually and be creative with your wall definitions.

No problems here. Are reflections on for your camera?
-
Is this a pre purchase question? Pro has manual framing tools that you can use.

Align the cabinets. Should not matter, but the one on the left is a bit off. Examples?

For problems like this, just poke around the settings and try a few things.

display wall dimensions on an Orthographic Framing view
solver replied to DesignerPro2020's topic in Q&A
What does your carpenter need to know to build that wall? The Home Designer products lack the ability to easily dimension framing. -
You can use Edit Area to select just a portion of the plan, copy, paste into a new plan and upload it. Copy the plan and remove all the cars, furniture etc. Zipping the plan will sometimes get it small enough.

Pictures? Plan? Pick one from the library, click in the plan.

It depends. You can make a cabinet that is 3/4" deep and place it on the end. You can place a cabinet door by itself in the plan, then position it manually against the island.
-
The entire plan is a bit of a mess. It's been what I call "brute forced". Is this foundation correct?
-
@Jo_Ann I believe Architectural could do this. Changed the problem wall to a Pony Wall, lower part Room Divider. Dragged the foundation wall under the door over to align with the door edge. Need to fill in the wall with something.

Showing Roof Baseline Polyline and manual roof. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/M4xWkop_9QU?hd=1

I did this with a Roof Baseline Polyline, but would suggest you learn a bit about manual roofs and use the tools available in Pro.

Delete the Gable/Roof Line and instead, break the wall where you want the gable. Set the wall to Full Gable.
