    Widow's Walk

And if you still want to lower the floor of the widow's walk, you only need to do this. Oops. Looks like you already did that.

    Widow's Walk

YES! Architectural 2018 has the same problem, but I didn't realize that Pro 2018 also had that problem. Here's the fix: Open the wall, to the rail style tab. Raise the bottom rail to 16" (If that's what you want). Then get a closed box shape from the library. Set it's height to 16", resize it's depth, and control/drag it under the railing.

    Widow's Walk

In the new plan you uploaded, you haven't applied any of the directions given. Height control of the lower wall of the pony wall...YES, there is control.

    Widow's Walk

I suspect that maybe your roof plane is preventing the railing from "popping up". Try pulling back the roof plane from the 4th floor wall.

    Widow's Walk

The stairs I created originate from the 3rd floor to the widow's deck. You will have to also add a set of stairs from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor. Did you set the upper wall of the pony wall to be a railing? Did you open the railing tab of the wall specification box, and put a check mark in the "specify railing" box?

    Pony Wall

That appears to be a saltbox type roof.

    MULTIPLE SHED ROOFS

And therein presents the big elephant in the room, "all vaulted ceilings". When I said post the plan, I meant the plan FILE. Not images. Before posting the plan file, try to make the structure as complete as possible. Roof pitch and basic ceiling heights are important. If you intend to add the porch, then you need to do that also before posting the plan. Close your HDA program before uploading the plan.
  8. By now you probably know that the only quick way to fix that, is to uncheck "hide terrain intersected by building". This works fine if you are only exporting images to your client. Of course, if you have a finished basement, you will then have to re-check that option. It is what it is. Unless, you want to insert an exterior item (slab maybe?) at ground level up against the entire foundation perimeter, with a grass material applied.

    MULTIPLE SHED ROOFS

The exterior of this design is fairly easy to do, BUT...the interior could be a problem (depending on what you want). And, you haven't provided enough info for your intentions on the interior. This is much more complicated to do with Architectural, as opposed to Pro. Posting your plan might help.

    Widow's Walk

Is this what you want? The top of the pony wall bottom is flush with the side roof planes, and the floor is recessed 16" from that. I think you can see by looking at the (green dashed) roof plane lines, that an 8' by 10' room is not going to fill that roof void. The room will have to be longer, to accommodate the roof.

    Roof Anomaly

If you like the way this roof looks, then copy the settings exactly as shown.
  12. You have your 2nd floor designated as "attic". Change that and rebuild roof. Also, did you intend to set the wall roof tabs as "upper pitch"??
  13. I think what you are saying, is that using soffits for the trey ceiling will not build your framing correctly, to show a lower wall/ceiling on the exterior family room wall. Maybe this approach will get what you want?
  14. Surely you know that you can't raise ceilings with 'auto rebuild roof' turned on, because the roof will rebuild to accomodate the taller ceilings? If you raise the buffet-hutch to the default height of 94.6", the knobs won't be up in the air.
  15. On the top tool bar: Edit>Default Settings>Floors and Rooms>Current Floor. Set your ceiling height. Do this for each floor. If it doesn't auto reset, then ... On the top toolbar: Edit>Reset Defaults. Put a check mark in All Floors, Ceiling Heights, and Floor Heights.
  16. Open one of those windows and post a pic of the dialog settings box.
  17. Try this work-around. The invisible wall placement is strategic. You will also have to realign the attic wall above it. Looks like you have a lot of upper cabinet fixing to do. Did you notice that your hall country buffet has knobs above it in the air?
  18. Open the invisible wall with the unwanted crown molding, and change it to a room divider wall. Both problems go away.
  19. You should have started a new thread for your question. Suite does not allow you to add molding to soffits or wall cabinets. However, you might be able to work around this. The plan template you chose to begin with, evidently does not offer a wall cabinet with crown molding. But other plan templates, DO. Open a 'new' plan (try the 'Traditional' template) and vertically tile it beside your current plan. Place a wall cabinet in the 'Traditional' plan. COPY this cabinet. Make your current plan the active plan, go to the top tool bar and edit/paste the copied cabinet into your plan. You can then alter the cabinet door to the style you want, either through it's dialog box door tab, or from the library cabinet doors.
  20. Which of the programs are you using, and what version?
  21. You have added an exterior wall covering. Select the exterior wall, then press the "tab" key on your keyboard. Open, and delete the wall covering.
