  1. Name all the rooms to what they are going to be, then upload the file.
  2. James, You already have the design, and you have the software that can do what Jo_Ann did. There's not alot you can do with the design except raise the pitch and ceiling heights. This should help..... 4 pitch.plan

    Box out Chimney

Why not use the fireplace tool, Click Build>fireplace and then change the height, to get the chimney.
  4. An after thought, next time don't move the house, just resize the terrain perimeter.
  5. Here's what it looks like with a gambrel roof.. You gable the front wall, for the side wall(s) you check upper pitch and keep or lower the number, the main pitch can be from 12 to 15" To get the gable on the front, grab the wall and drag it to make a separate bay window room, lower the bay window room and gable the main house wall you made.
  6. As mentioned turn auto rebuild on, click on the front wall you want to gable then open the specification box and click roof>full gable. To get the pitch you want click the side wall(s), open it's specification box, click roof and change the pitch. Click on the room with the gable, open it's specification box click structure and uncheck ceiling over this room. Lastly upload the plan
  7. Turn auto rebuild roof on, with that off, the roof will not build. The side wall(s) control the pitch of the gable. Delete the bay window and manually build it, that way you have more control over the roof. Since there's no second floor, the first floor ceiling ceiling heights will have to be the same, so that the roof builds correctly. Once the roof is how you want it, then you turn off auto rebuild. You change ceiling heights by changing Ceiling (F) not Ceiling (B) with the garage being the exception. Something like this, 4 pitch.plan
  8. That file extension is for Punch home design software.

Do you have a pic of what the terrain looks like?
  11. Here's what I came up with... Garage plan 1.plan
  12. Use the breakwall tool, then Component (C) or Object (O) painter.
  13. Minimum width 48" or open the specification box, click options >double doors only.
  14. You should name the rooms what they are going to be, so that the the software builds correctly. For the flat roof, all the walls has to have the same pitch, that's why the roof juts out like that. Uncheck the gable wall for the garage, it won't do anything on a flat roof. Uncheck foundation wall for utility exterior wall. Delete the soffits and paint using the F or O painter tool. Complete the wall on the second floor to create a room Align the second floor walls. Use the break wall tool to break a section of the wall and change it to brick. Click tools>plan check.
  15. In Suite you make the room a slab, then lower the floor to -15 or so, make all the walls a 1/4" pitch to get the flat roof. To make a complete circle, go to the second floor and click on the curved wall tool, draw the curve until it stops, then use the break wall tool to break a section of the wall and drag that section to complete the circle. circle.plan
  16. For the roof that has the Gable, click on the 2 side walls, they control the pitch for the gable.
  17. You're side walls control the pitch of the gable wall(s).
  18. Suite will open all Home Designer software, with Pro and Premier the maker of that plan has to unlock the plan in order to edit it. They have to be the same or lower versions.

    Prow front roof

    https://www.homedesignersoftware.com/support/article/KB-01197/creating-a-prow-roof.html
  20. Yes if you have Pro or Premier, not so with Architectural and below.
  21. Jo_Ann why haven't you explained how to do that? The Images look great as always, but for this build that's not going to help Long88.
  22. I'm not sure what happened, it you haven't fixed it yet, upload the plan as is. Click on the porch and move the box shape out of the way, then go to the foundation click the reference tool and draw the walls for porch change the walls to 8" concrete stem walls, in 3d view paint the walls to see what I mean. For the Garage you have to create the room and name it as such, Garages, Porches, Slabs and Decks build differently than Kitchens and Baths. The plan check identifies problems that need fixing. You do that after you finished building the house. Daltile, James Hardie etc. are the names of the catalogs that has the materials in them.
  23. Yes, download the catalogs for your version. When you build a room and name it porch or slab the floor will be 20 1/2" from the terrain, you just raise floor (C) 1 1/2" to get 22" Use boxes for the porch fill, if you use wall (s) it will not paint the top of the wall. Draw a wall to create the garage and rename that room to Garage. Delete the dormer and build a blank second floor, then build a room where the dormer was, lower that room to 0" In the picture, the back porch door sits about 5" above the porch floor, lower the porch floor or raise the main house floor. Use a terrain feature for the patio, if you use a roof for the patio, it's going to create problems. Do a plan check, click tools>plan check.

    Floor Problems

Click edit>default settings>floors click moldings, uncheck use floor defaults and click the drop down box, click crown molding and make it 1 1/2" higher than the ceiling height. If the ceiling height is 108" than make the crown molding height 109 1/2". Also check auto rebuild foundations and leave on until you are done building the house.
