    Floor Problems

Rename the Garage to utility since it's no longer a garage, for the bedroom, use default for the living area and check the defaults. Turn Auto rebuild foundations on, leave it on until you are sure you are not going to move the exterior walls or rename interior rooms, then turn it off if you want to. Once you turn auto rebuild roof or foundation off, it's not a good idea to move the exterior and in some cases interior walls, it can cause problems if you turn it back on. Click tools>plan check, you have 23 errors to fix.
  3. Yes, it will be the plan you saved.
  4. Could you upload the plan please...

    Windows 10 64 bit.
  6. Take a look at this plan... https://hometalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/3784-gambrel-building-with-lean-tos-on-each-side/
  7. Lights are dependent on the video card, so the max is 8 lights. You would have to turn off the lights that are illuminated and see what happens. In the image it looks like 8 lights are illuminated. So the pool lights won't work unless you turn off the other lights.
  8. Here's how it looks with a divided Porch. Left side is 80" with a 1/4" pitch and the right side is 96" with a 6" pitch...
  9. Is this what you are trying to do?? I lowered the porch to 84" with a 3" pitch. Made a second floor room over the Living and dining room and lowered them to 0" First and second floor ceiling heights are 96" Mount Vernon - 1.plan

  13. Your Welcome, Is that how you want the roof to look?
  14. That's why I asked the question...further the house was built on the second floor, not the first floor. When you build floors all the ceiling heights are the same, unless you change them. If you lower the ceiling height, the roof will be lowered also. I could not tell what the roof is suppose to look like, an actual picture would have been more helpful. With the Garage you change ceiling (B) not F to get the height you want. Here's what I came up with, Built a second floor over the family room, made that open below, lowered the first floor family room to 93" ceiling (F) and the second floor to 0" Raised the Garage ceiling to 111" Ceiling B. temp-1.plan
  15. Is this what you are trying to do? temp-1.plan
  16. I looked at the plan, Why do you need a pony wall in the foundation? Why does the bump out in the living room have attic walls that are gabled and a knee wall? Undo that, and lower the ceiling height to 80 something. Where is your terrain perimeter? Here's what I came up with, Grit 13 - 1.plan
  17. Go to the site and download from the Plants, Images, Backdrops section.
  18. Is this what you trying to do? I lowered the second floor ceiling to 80", the pitch for the lean to is 4". I turned off auto rebuild roofs and the reset second floor ceiling height to it's default. barnhouse.plan
  19. Here's what I came up with... The second floor bedroom covered part of the stairs, uncheck auto rebuild foundations and make the garage floor from -26 1/8 to -14 1/8. Turn off Automatic Dimensions, do a plan check, there's other issues. Victorian.plan
  20. Use the room divider tool ..it creates a invisible room that can be edited..
  21. Use the room divider tool to make a separate room then lower the ceiling height.
  22. Use a second floor for the Gambrel roof, and then lower the ceiling height, turn off auto rebuild roofs and reset the ceiling height to it's default.
  23. Make floor D the same height as the stem wall C...If the stem wall is -14 1/8" then make floor D -14 1/8"
  24. Uncheck ignore 2nd floor, go to the decapitated roof thread and down load the plan that I uploaded.
