Do you have a picture of what the house is suppose to look like?

David said it best, He even gave the HOW and WHY for the issue at hand, If you are a HD Pro user. In Suite you cannot do it that way, You will have to manually rotate each wall even if you use CAD lines. As an alternative, you can simply delete the problem area and redraw to how you want it.

What Kat said!!! What i can't figure out is, why did you import a object that you can draw yourself.

Here's the difference between the two methods... Chimney.plan

Or you could simply click on the starter tread tool, it does the same trick.

It's really strange how you can apply every thing in the Library(s) except the Millwork.

You cannot change the floor structure in Suite, you have to adjust the ceiling height to what you want.
-
Click on a wall, open it's specification box >roof> check Full gable wall
-
Go to the Homedesigner site and check out Catalog and Content download. It has just what your looking for.

1st question, You place the fireplace on the wall itself and then click. 2nd question, you insert a pass thru and like solver said got to the library and look for fireplace inserts.

To get the effect you want, you will have to use curved half walls, soffits and cabinets Resize to your liking. This what I did using Suite 2016 tub1.plan

I guess the lesson learned is pay attention to what you are doing. When using the painter check the setting, if it's F it paints the whole floor, if it's P the whole plan. Use edit>default setting when your sure that's what you want for the plan, if not leave it alone. The AMD tool changes everything that has that material in the plan ie; if the fixture is chrome and you use the AMD tool to change it to stainless steel, it will change everything in the plan that has the chrome texture. It's been said many times on this forum, Learn what the Software can and cannot do.

Maybe we have a different meaning of wall types as I count 23 in Suite.

no need to copy, just open the new version, click file>open plan... The software will ask "do you want to associate the file with this version" or words to that effect. You will have to copy your user catalog to the new version.

First, draw the wall, then click on it to open it's specification box. In Suite, if you don't choose a template, it will use the default template. The exterior walls will be siding-6,
