  1. You can also insert the Cooktop as a free standing object and place it where you want it. The message that pops up will ask you that.

solver, There's no time limit(s) on the Trial version. I've had Pro since August of 2015 and Premier since November of 2015 Both still work.
  4. Use Base Cabinets, Sink Base Cabinet, Corner Cabinet and Soffits. Remove the counter-top from the sink base cabinet and resize as needed. The apron sink is Kohler from 3d warehouse.
  5. click Tools>display options
  6. Solver you beat me to it....LOL
  7. Go to Cabinets>Accessible Cabinets>End Cabinet Base See if that works for you, also you may need to use a soffit as a filler.
  8. Here's my version of the plan. To get double doors, resize the door to a minimum of 48" There was no need to "thicken the floor" for the second floor, just raise or lower Floor C Aligned the 1st floor with 2nd floor Put the 2nd floor stairs on the 1st floor then raised it using the Landing tool. Unchecked Auto roof return (2nd floor Family Room) it won't show anyway. To raise the Terrain pad, lower the number Don't ask! lol Try using different pitches for the plan just for fun. O-plan Revised-1.zip
  9. Changed the Interior wall to exterior wall, fixed the negative ceiling height, removed the Dormers from the Attic to the 1st floor.. In the future DO NOT put anything in the Attic.... Use soffits and/or the break-wall tool for exterior wall(s) that go into interior rooms. Plan 4 slanted garage V2 - hip1.plan
  10. Is this what you want to create??? Double Gable.plan
  11. What David said.... The Eyedropper and Material Definition tools will change everything in the plan, that has the same material. The Painter tool changes according the setting. Component- part of the object Object- the whole component Room- Everything in the room, that has the same material Floor- Everything for that floor, that has the same material Plan- Everything for that plan that has the same material
  12. Click Build.Wall>hatch and then click on the wall(s) you want to change click the wall(s) again and specification box will open, change the fill pattern to solid. Choose you color.
  13. Go to the Library click Architectural>cabinets>style template cabinets. If you don't like the face of the cabinet doors/drawers click Cabinets>doors, drawers and panels. When you download from 3d warehouse some of the objects have to be rotated using SketchUp. The software comes with most of what you need.
  14. Lower the ceiling height and Gable the 2 side walls, lower the pitch to 6 or lower.
  15. Go to the Library and take a peek at Exteriors>Structures If that's not what you want try this: Lower the ceiling height for the Carport, click each wall (3) and lower the pitch to 1/4"
  16. Which one do you have? Your Sig line says Suite 2016 In Suite you have use a half wall and then resize it to 1 1/2 " thickness.
  17. What Jo_Ann said said to do. LoL #4-1.plan

    Roof goofyness

I"m not sure you understand how the software works. It builds according to input by you. Solver explained to you how to fix the errors in your plan. For some reason they were not followed. The Foyer didn't have a floor, because it was "open below". If you were open the front door, you fall down to the foundation floor. There was no stairwell, because was there was no room to build it. Going by your plan layout, that's how it looks. It's fixed.
  19. If you upgrade from HDA to HDP it's $295 without the DVD backup. From HDS to HDP it's $395. If it was purchased from the HomeDesigner site, I can't see how that error was made.
  20. Like I said, you have to undo what caused the error. That's why it kept popping up. Even though you renamed the file.
  21. Use the break wall tool if you to want use a different material for each Choose Component or Object not Room
