  1. Click on the stairs and open it's specification box, click style and uncheck open risers.
  2. The workaround would be to use a pass thru window and then insert the door.
  3. Click Cabinets>Style template cabinets, click on each style template wall cabinet.
  4. Here's my guess work.... I used soffits and a box shape for the floor....
  5. I would suggest you go to the home designer site. It has just about everything you need. I rarely have to import 3rd party objects and fixtures unless it's something unusual. Take a look at your library(s) you will be surprised at what in it.
  6. Use cabinets and soffits, edit and resize the cabinets..
  7. There's no way around that, unless you separate that section from the Main house. From the pic, no matter what type of roof you build it will attach.
  8. I had the same problem with Suite 2016, Tech will tell you to do what you have done. It all started when Windows 10 updated. I gave up and upgraded to 2017 and the toolbars disappear after windows update, but 2017 has the reset option for toolbars whereas the older version(s) don't.
  9. The latest version has all files of the older versions plus some, the older files are for the older versions of the software. For 2017, the version is X8 that's the one you download. No need to download the others, you will have duplicate materials, objects and fixtures if you do.
  10. I followed this post in the Chief forum. It's seems to be quicker if you use what katalyst suggested.
  11. Here's what I came up with using Suite 2017. First - Click Terrain>create terrain perimeter, to edit open it's specification and uncheck automatic and flatten pad, to lower the pad, raise the number to raise the pad lower the number. Click on EACH rail, open the specification box click>roof and lower the pitch to 4 or less. Click on Rail Style and click post to ceiling, change the spacing from 96" to 120" click the Library button and choose a object for the Newel posts. If you are Manually roof editing challenged, simply build a 2nd floor and lower the ceiling height. BG 1.plan

    Graphics in 3D

If you have a Nvidia card check Device Manager to see if windows disabled the drivers. Windows 10 had a bad habit of disabling Nvidia cards and used the basic video driver.

    NewB Project

I agree with David, not much assistance can be given with just the picture. If you have the plan, post it and members will go from there.
  14. If you want to build like the pic in the link, you will have to download the floor plan and build according to it.
  15. Those are shadows of the light fixtures, go to Preference>render and edit shadows
  16. Could you show the plan or pictures of what your trying to do...
  17. I have both Pro and CA trial versions, as for basic manual editing, David is correct there is no difference, CA let's you do advanced editing where as Pro doesn't.
  18. Use the break wall tool, keep the window wall it's original size and make the side walls thicker and then angle a soffit, box, triangle shape or wall.
  19. Here's what I came up with...
  20. Looking at the pic, I see don't see why you are having a problem, this is a easy fix, all you have to do is follow the instructions that were given.
  21. The default settings apply to the Default template, not the style template. Apply changes manually using the material painter and the floor, room or plan setting.

    church stage

Here are 2 ways to build a stage.. The first one is with half walls, with the floor raised to 40" and each wall lowered to 2" The second one is with room dividers with the floor raised to 40"
  23. I agree with David, draw the fence using the build>fence command and then open it's specification box and go from there.
