The wall that separates room A from B needs to be a interior wall, use the breakwall tool. You're Gable overhang is set to 3 you may want to increase that. I turned on Auto rebuild roof, everything that was Gabled became ungabled, which means it was built wrong. You turn auto rebuild off when the roof is how you want it. Check your ceiling heights,

How about simply using the brick-6 wall, resize to what you want and then paint the wall with the gettystone material. You created a wall that the program did not recognize. There was no need to do that.

It's a belly band or exterior room, you can change the material but that's it... you click just outside an exterior wall and it will show, move the mouse away and click again it should go away.
-
Change the foundation walls to exterior walls...
-
You will have to create a 2nd floor and then lower the ceiling height, and uncheck ceiling for this room.

Here's what the countertop should look like. 9 24 no basement-1.plan

Uncheck the upper pitch. Use 2 cabinets or 1 long one and resize to about 3" or so and then resize the overhang to 6" or so. The shelves are not needed for that configuration.

Generally, when going from old PC to new PC, you burn the files you want to dvd and then copy it to the new PC. Example: C>program files>chief architect>homedesigner pro.....burn everything in the folder and then copy it to the new PC.

Open-Beamed deck roof w-corregated cieling + room ht. glitch
LawB10 replied to PLANsLLC123's topic in Q&A
The reason the ceiling won't rise is because you don't have roof for that room, you created a floating roof. Reset your defaults back to factory settings, the stairs etc: don't show in 2d view. The 1st floor ceiling and floor finish are set to 0" click the defaults, unless you want a concrete floor for the rooms you draw. On the 2nd floor uncheck extend the roof downward, it won't work if there's no bump out. Use the breakwall tool and break the wall about 2 feet or so and ungable that piece. Leave Auto rebuild on until your finished with the roof. Once you turn it off DO NOT add or resize the exterior walls. Deck Cover.plan -
Do a simple test, download x8 and see if it works.... They are mainly updates/upgrades to the materials in the catalog.

Like solver said post a picture of what it suppose to be like. Generally, when you have stairs against the wall only the rails show. Try this: Delete the left side rail, then draw a rail, check "no room definition" have the rail follow the stairs and place it on the stair itself.
-
Trying experimenting with other colors, use the Material Definition tool to make it as transparent as you like.

Have you download the Vetrazzo catalog? It may have what you are looking for.

Turn on Auto rebuild roofs and Auto rebuild foundation, DO NOT turn them off until the house is built. Create the terrain perimeter, and uncheck automatic and flatten pad. To lower the terrain raise the number, to raise the terrain lower the number.
-
It should look something this... I used 2 full heights cabinets, resized them to 42" installed the appliances and raised one cabinet's floor to bottom height to 42".
-
Upload a pic of what it looks like in 3d view.
-
If your trying to match the color then you check the color option, not the texture.
-
Did you try right clicking on you're user catalog? You should see a dialog that says NEW with a drop down list.
