Use the room divider tool to create a room, then click on it to open it's specification box, then click moldings and uncheck "use floor defaults" click add new and click chair rail.

If I read that correctly, you would have to click on the stairs and then check open underneath, move the wall about a inch or so and then go to Architectural>doors and doorways>wrapped openings. Choose gothic or tudor.

Did you try the room divider tool?

Use a box shape to extend the post to the ceiling. Uncheck ceiling over this room, check use soffit surface for ceiling. Paint the ceiling to metal material. Suite doesn't have sloped soffits, you may have look in 3d warehouse for one.

Like Jo_Ann stated, all of the rooms 'had no roof over this room' unchecked, also you were using a slab with footings as a roof, was there a reason for that? To change the height of a wall you simply click on the wall and raise it up. If it's a wall within a room, it raise's the room up. You have to click the tools on the toolbar, it's not going to do anything just by hovering the mouse over it. The expectation that you have is difficult to understand.....

Yes, just lower the floor (D) and Stem wall top (C) to -4"...

Why are you using room dividers? Use walls and make them invisible.

Use a soffit or box shape.....

Here's what I came up with using Suite 2017.

Sir Keith, When you open a 2016 plan in 2017 you have to use the "save as" function, If you don't and you click "save" it will convert the plan to the newer version. You would "save as" Michelle 01.01.17 Master Plan - 1 for example.

If I'm correct that's the original look, It was altered by removing the ceiling and that's what you get. The 3rd pic is when you move the attic wall, not the knee wall. With the knee wall, it's goes sofar and you have to stop or It will cause the roof to change, that's when you use the attic wall to finish filling the hole. To get the look you want, try this: create a room next the auto dormer and check "no room definition" use a box shape and raise it, then use a wedge to fill in.
