Could you post the plan please.
-
Here's something you can try, use a soffit or box shape, resize it and apply the mirror material to it.
-
No it wasn't, the first floor ceiling heights are 108" to include the front porch, The second floor height was 30". When you use "open below" it adds 12 or more inches to the lower floor. There was no need to use open below as you won't have a ceiling for the 1st floor. There is no need for architechural blocks, that's where you problems are. All you had to do was take 2 boxed shapes, resize them and add a material. Again there was no need for you to redesign the plan. It was already done for you.

What was wrong with the plan that I uploaded? It was built according to pics you uploaded, There was no need to make changes, that's why your having problems.
-
Can you upload pics from different angles? You can't tell what the roof is suppose to be like. Some of the rooms ceiling heights are 142 1/2" and 108" is that correct? The building pitch is 4" is that correct? Lastly Can you be more specific as to what you want. ie expanding the Master Closet.

David your right, but take a look at the size of the file. It's 2.63GB that's a catalog.
-
That's to add new Material like it says, you added a catalog file as a material. click Library>import, click on the file, the software will automatically install it.

Here's what I came up with. shawn1.plan

To get a triangle using soffits and/or cabinets you have to use 3 of each. You can't delete the program, you have uninstall it I'm not a MAC user, however I would think process is the same difference. Right click on .msi file for the software and click uninstall, or open the .msi file and click remove, lastly use the operating systems uninstaller. Keep in mind it uninstalls the software only, not the plans, catalogs, textures etc:

To make it easier just uncheck ceiling for this room, the ceiling will follow the roof. There is no need to set the pitch or ceiling height.

Two problems/questions: exterior walls and a sofa that keeps flipping!

Solver, With the software she's using, she can only upgrade to HDA, HDP and CA. Unless someone has HDI, she may not be able to open the higher version(s), if she can it may be for viewing only.- 2 replies

Use the full floor camera and add the material manually.
-
To place outlets on a cabinet sidewall, you draw a half wall and resize it to the lowest width the program allows. As for the ceiling ???????
-
Resize the wall to lowest the software will allow and apply a material.

Since you have Suite 2014, you cannot open the latest version of Suite. Turn on Auto rebuild roofs Build a 2nd Floor
-
Can you be more specific ie: where in the plan are you trying to build the salt roof.
-
Add another section and widen it to 6'

The 2 pics show how they work. The pic on the left is a base cabinet from the library and a sink from the Kohler catalog The one on the right is a Kohler Vanity and a sink from the library. You have to lower sink down into the vanity a inch or two and use a soffit or custom counter top. The reason it sits on top is because it was designed that way or it's from 3d warehouse. When you tried to place the sink, you should have gotten message, if you did not, then the software doesn't recognize the object

Download the Kohler catalog from the Home Designer website. The objects work the same as the ones from Library
-
Click the auto stairwell button on your left.

Like solver said you have to be more specific. Generally, you change the material to glass...
