    Insulated Slab

You don't. I can do it with Chief, but not an option in Pro. The other way is to put the garage on the 2nd floor and not have a first floor under it. You will (maybe) need to fiddle with the structure settings for things like a curb in the garage if it's needed.

    Insulated Slab

Thinking of the garage. It would not have a second floor above it, and you would raise the ceiling height for it to whatever it needs to be.

What did it do? I'd use a 1-1/2" high floor with walls and structure changed to show only what is needed. This will elevate the 2nd floor the correct amount, and keep the overall structure dimensions correct. In any case, you will need to create a detail like your image.
  4. There are 2 of the same table, and 3 of the same chair in your plan. No vases or flowers.
  5. Have you tried items from the core library -- not the Wayfair catalog? You can attach the plan file -- make sure it's not open in Pro. Click choose files when you are replying. Images are the same.
  6. I just started a new plan, placed several vases on the floor. Took a dollhouse view and set view direction to top view. Vases show up. What exactly are you doing? Posting images is usually helpful too.

You will need to post images and or the plan so others may understand.

    manual roof

Watch the manual roof videos on YouTube. Remember, roof planes are always drawn up slope. Draw a rectangular structure. Draw a roof plane. Look at it in a camera view and see what it looks like.
  9. I believe you are talking about Temporary Dimensions. There is a toggle button on the right side. Mouse over them.
  10. I used the Material Eyedropper to select one brick and paint the other brick, which changed to match. Don't know how, but the rough looking brick is using a Bump Map and the other is not. From your screen captures, Pro does not let you set Bump Maps for a material.
  11. You are showing different types of movement. The first is moving the position of a wall, the second is changing the length.
  12. Post the plan, or just a simple one with one wall showing the difference.
  13. Did you start this plan in an earlier or different version of Home Designer? One texture is using a Bump, or Normal map. The other is not. See the Adjust Material Definition tool.
  14. I checked my copy of Suite and it works like Chief Premier as shown in the image. Could you post a screen capture showing what you are seeing? I used exterior walls to enclose a room, then drew in 2 interior walls in a corner forming a 2nd room.
  15. Things that should be so simple -- are not, and I don't think in metric. Delete your foundation. Make every room, Monolithic Slab. Set the floor height and the ceiling height for each room, starting at the top. Build the foundation -- and turn on Auto Rebuild Foundation. For the garage, make changes at the foundation level, so you are moving the stemwall and floor above up or down. The garage is a pain because I don't really understand all the settings. Garage from the foundation.
  16. Are you rebuilding the foundation?
  17. Is this what you want?
  18. Suggest you get the rest of the roof correct with the auto tools, then add the gable.
  19. Here is something to work on. Every one of these triangles is a wall that's off the angular grid. They are drawn crooked -- not at 0 or 90 degrees, and the angles don't match your angle snap settings.
  20. The auto roof builder is not perfect and often has trouble where there are multiple gables. Suggest it's time to learn manual roofs. Maybe DJP will see this and make you a video.
  21. All the Home Designer products only create single sheet layouts. One layout per file. You will need multiple files -- site plan, floor plan, electrical plan etc to make up your plan set. Or, for another $2,300 or so, Chief Architect Premier has multi sheet layout files.
  22. Here is my suggestion. Forgo the gable right of the entry. Roof planes clean up this way.
  23. No offense intended, but that's a poor roof design for that house.
