  1. What problem are you having?
  2. That's not normally shown on an electrical plan, but you may be able to use the CAD tools to do it.
  3. Any reason to not use multiple cabinets?
  4. Review defining/changing a wall type. Build>Wall>Define Wall Types ...
  5. @Donco15 What are you raving about -- the blue and yellow walls? That's the way all Chief Architect/Home Designer products looked using the defaults prior to the 2019 versions. For some reason, they changed to gray wall fills for the recent versions.
  6. Pro has plan files and layout files, and both use templates. Are you asking about a layout template? (some refer to a plan as a layout, but in Pro they mean different things) I'm not understanding "download-able sets for framing, hvac, room elevations, etc.". Taking framing as an example, what would you expect to find in a template? How would you make use of a framing template?
  7. What are you wanting? People mostly create a new, or change the default template to be what they want.
  8. One other suggestion. Add your 2nd floor rooms now. When working on the roof it's important to have the structure below in place.
  9. Manual roofs just take practice. Good videos on the Chief Architect YouTube channel. David Potter YouTube also. These are 12, others except the back porch are 7. Goal was to align the ridges when looking from the front, and make the gables in the front match.
  10. Your plan, specifically the angled garage makes a clean roof difficult. I'm not a fan of a hip roof with a few gables added for "looks", so here is an idea for a all gable roof. Done manually starting with an auto build, quickly and needs work. You might start with something like this, then add the hips back in.
  11. Someone will need the plan file to help. Close Pro first.
  12. No. Chief has all the tools to easily do these things, Home Designer has very limited layer operations -- turn layers on or off.
  13. Did you set the second floor room to Open Below?

    Custom Wall Mirror

Open the camera and turn Reflections on. Searching Help for reflections ...
  15. You can do the same in plan view. Maybe it's the Z axis you want to rotate about.
  16. You (maybe) can select items in elevation and rotate with the rotate handle. This is Pro.
  17. Layers are one of the big limitations of Pro. You are stuck with the layers that come with the program and not able to create new layers, layer sets, or assign objects to specific layers.
  18. Start a new plan. Create an elevation and add dimensions/notes. Save the camera. Close the elevation, save and close the plan. Open it and then the saved camera.
  19. What is your image trying to show? You might pull back and give us a wider view, and say what material is excess.
  20. Did you check the layers while in the Wall Elevation view? This is Premier, but shows using a layer set normally used for plan view in a wall elevation view.
