  1. The simple way is to copy the dimensions on the 1st floor, go to the foundation and Paste/Hold Position. What does a cross section look like on your plan?
  2. I was confused, thinking you had a walk out basement with some framed walls. -------- Here is a cross section showing a Brick-6 wall over a foundation stem wall. The foundation contractor needs the outside (to the brick) dimension. The framer needs dimensions for the framing. Why are you wanting them to be the same?
  3. Check this. Attach your plan file if this isn't the problem -- close Pro first.
  4. Grab the wall to the left or right of the gap and pull it across to fill in. If you use Vector View for images like the one you posted, it makes it easier for others to see what's going on.
  5. That's because the software lacks the ability. Have you checked the Bonus Catalogs, or 3D Warehouse (google it).

    sloped walls

Build the model like the house. Use a roof plane to form the sloped wall.

    Deleting Framing

Those options are only available in Pro. You can delete walls -- select and delete, and you can delete all roof planes via the Delete Objects dialog. You cannot delete individual roof planes.
  8. Here are a couple of wedge shaped molding profiles. Drag the file into a Pro window to install in your User Library. Untitled 6.calibz You can apply these to a soffit or custom countertop. Maybe the best is to use roof planes. This keeps things outside the foundation.
  9. Select all the interior walls (shift select, marquee around etc) and change all at once.

    Export Images

    How? File>Export PDF
  11. CAD>Draw Polyline Reshape the polyline as needed. Edit>Edit Area Edit Area will use the polyline as its selection. Once you move one floor, select the polyline, Cut, go to 2nd floor, Paste/Hold Position, repeat the process. Don't delete the center, select like I have shown in the image, then use the arrow keys to move. You can set the distance here (change the 60 to the distance you want to move), then 1 press of the arrow key will move the selection that amount. When you select a wall that is closely, but not exactly aligned with a wall above/below, check the Edit Toolbar for tools that will correct this.
  12. It's helpful to show the problem and to have the plan file to work with. I could keep lowering the deck room ceiling until the roof merged with the smaller roof plane.
  13. I've not looked at the plan, but Edit Area should work. Select the 1st floor area you want to move, move it. Repeat on the 2nd floor. Rebuild roof and foundation.

  17. Copy it and delete everything but walls. Start by deleting all framing (Edit>Delete Objects). Turn on auto framing for walls, floors, roof etc.
  18. Edit>Edit Area (All Floors) Copy Paste into the new plan, rotate as needed. Best to have the buildings square with the screen and rotate the plot plan as needed.
  19. Delete the framing or turn off its display in Layer Display Options.
