  1. What options does your Print dialog offer?
  2. Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/ain8Fk8yKLA?hd=1
  3. Use a wall to get the roof to build correctly, work on the floor last. You can always do it manually, or automatically after turning off auto rebuild roofs.
  4. If you attach your plan file (close Pro first) when asking questions like this, others will have something to work with -- maybe make a video etc. I'd suggest you copy/paste in place the two roof planes left of the door. While selected, center them on the door, then use Transform/Replicate to raise them and move them back over the door. Reshape/connect the existing roof planes.
  5. Keep in mind that you can easily build simple cabinets like this from parts -- partitions, shelves, custom countertops, slabs etc. This is a Custom Countertop with a molding for the sides.
  6. When you get the cabinet made, save it in the Library Watch on YouTube: http://youtu.be/7-h7ahl_jPc?hd=1
  7. Go to Front, not Materials.
  8. Videos on manual roofs on the Chief Website, and YouTube channel. I have a roofs playlist on my YouTube channel (link in my sig), David Potter has many videos on his channel. Roof planes may be copied/pasted/moved around like any other object. Roofs build over rooms, so you could, for example, only build roofs for the entry, copy them, auto build, then paste/hold position the copied roof planes. Make changes to integrate them into the existing roof structure. Read about Roof Groups too. 9. Click the part in the 3D display on the right. Or in the list of items.
  10. Select it and delete it.
  11. Does that not work? Use a slab to extend the porch. Use manual roof plane.
  12. Read the documentation to understand Rotate Plan View, and yes, it's the wrong tool for this.
  13. Generally, you create the site plan, then you rotate the site plan so the house walls are square with the screen. But it depends on the info you have and how your site boundarys are specified. You might try Edit Area (All Floors) to select everything, then Transform/Replicate to rotate so the house walls are square.
  14. Do you know how to place breaks in a wall and then set part of the wall to Full Gable? Design wise, I don't see where a gable on the rear over the windows would make sense, and what is this room you have defined in that area?
  15. You might attach a plan file that demonstrates the problems.
  16. A couple of pictures will help others help you. Check out the links above for terrain how to info.
  17. Drag the roof plane back away from the stacked stone wall. Drag the roof plane where the wall is missing so its edge is well past the wall. See if the wall fills in, then move the roof back. There is a minimum overhang.
  18. It's not clear what the problem is.

    camera tools

The Floor Camera tool was removed from the toolbar in the latest versions because many users did not understand how it functioned. The Full Camera is preferred. The Floor Camera is still available and you can add it via Customize Toolbars.
  20. Contact Chief Architect directly.
  21. Is the porch a room? If not make it one and the railing will adjust.
  22. This only works in Standard View. Make a cabinet with a reduced depth, like 3/4". Change the material as shown. There is also an Opening (no material) material that you may want to experiment with.
  23. Check the Knowledge Base and YouTube links above.
  24. You can make the foundation wall auto dimension like you want, but you will need to position the foundation manually under the wall above -- no auto rebuild foundation.
