    Screen Door

I want to add an external screen door (swings out) in front of my entry door (swings in). How can I get the second door (screen) in same location as primary (entry) door? Thank You, Stephan L. Using "Chief Architect / Home Designer Pro 2021" (teaching myself as I go).
  2. How can I stop the tile from running up the wall beyond the level of the bottom of my cabinets. I have varying heights of cabinets / back-splash required. Example, over the sink is higher than the rest of the "back-splash". Illustration 1 (Without tile) shows where I want it to stop on this part or the kitchen wall (blue line). Illustration 2 (With tile) shows what happens when I "paint" the back-splash on the wall. The height of the back-splash over the sink is higher than I want it at the end of the cabinet run. HELP! Thank You, Stephan L. Using "Chief Architect / Home Designer Pro 2021" (teaching myself as I go).
  3. How can I make "operable" CABINET bi-fold doors? The Library has bi-fold doors that are good for closets, etc., but they include a wall frame that is not removable. I need to put a set of bi-folds on a TV cabinet (covering the TV). I don't know how to hinge a pair of standard cabinet doors to act like bi-folds. Stephan L. Grouping symbols

I recently "created" a piece of furniture by bumping several standard pieces next to each other and setting heights, materials, styles, etc. the same. It looks like what I want and I would like to keep them together as a unit when moving them on the floor plan and to save the group in my Users Folder in the library. How do I "group" these objects into a single unit? Stephan L. Home Designer Pro 2021 Learning as I go.

    Blow apart symbol

Is it possible to blow apart a 3D symbol (ie. a piece of furniture) and take one part and apply it to another symbol? If so, how? Stephan L. Using "Chief Architect / Home Designer Pro 2021" (teaching myself as I go).

  7. I want to import pictures of existing wallpaper, vinyl flooring, and curtains. I need to apply them to the appropriate surfaces to show in the 3D floor plan views. How do I add these items to my library user folder? What format (jpg, etc) should they be? Thank You
  8. How can I modify a hinge on an exterior door to change the hinge dimensions. I have a decorative door to which I want to add "strap hinges". I found the hinge style in the "cabinet" section of the library, but it does not fit the door thickness and it is too small (length and width). I would like to adjust the hinge dimensions but there is no way I can see to do this. If I could "blow the symbol apart", I could "fake it in". Any suggestions?
