Try drawing a new freestanding deck off to the side. Does it have the same problem? You might attach the plan file -- use Edit Area to cut out just the deck if you like.

Open the deck room and review the settings.
  3. Only Pro has truss tools. If you open Help and search truss and do not find anything, you can figure the program cannot do trusses.
  4. Suite is limited in many ways, and I believe this is one of them. I see no way to save pricing. You do have the option to export the materials list, so it's possible to create a utility to do this if you have or develop the ability to do so.
  5. Open the doorway, look at the General panel.
  6. Turn off the window casing and use a Custom Backsplash. Drag it across the window -- it won't cover the window. You can copy and paste from window to window.
  7. This is from Pro 2020 -- I don't have 2019 installed. Just opened the file. No changes.
  8. You probably should build your basement/lower level on floor 1, and use the foundation level for your footings.
  9. You should start attaching your plan file for questions like this. There are many settings and different ways of doing things and just looking at an image shows where you are, but not how you got there.
  10. Do you have Ignore Top Floor checked in the build roof dialog?
  11. That looks like a limitation of Architectural. Pro has settings that make the dimensions work as you want. Also noticed one wall is not square with the grid.
  12. Use Edit Area (All Floors) to cut out the kitchen, save in a new plan. Make sure the glasses look OK. Or you can copy the plan, then use Edit Area to delete parts you do not want.
  13. As for the wine glasses. If you attach the plan file, I'll take a look.
  14. I won't say these are better, maybe just different. There are websites where you may download textures -- some free some not. Stainless Steel Library_Mick.calibz
  15. You need to redraw the walls, not change them. Draw a new exterior wall off to the side and see if it shows as you expect. It has to do with the layer the wall is on. Something you cannot directly control.
  16. Try only using 2 walls to define the lower deck.
  17. Thanks. Please add the year as well -- looks like you have 2022. Try Edit>Delete Objects
  18. Only Pro has the ability to edit (select, delete etc) framing. And it's almost always helpful to attach a screen capture showing your issue.
  19. Roofs build over rooms. Room height, and roof height, is set by the ceiling height of the room. I'm leaving out some things to keep this simple. Go to the Home Designer website and search cod. Look at the first article in the results. In a new plan, draw 4 walls to form a room. build a 2nd floor taking all the defaults. Look at it in 3D. On the 2nd floor, change the ceiling height of the room by 4'. Look in 3D. What changed?
