Once you place the SU item, open it and set the height off floor. Save to the library. It should remember the height setting.

Are you referring to a Layout when you say "print project"? The typical workflow when printing a Layout is to print to PDF from Pro, then print the PDF. The print quality is chosen when printing. What makes you say this?

It sounds like you have 2 related problems, one with the ceiling and one with the roof. Attaching the plan file (close the software first) will help others help you. I would focus first on the roof, so someone will need to know what it is supposed to look like. Is this a new design or an existing house?

1st floor. Turn on the Auto Dormers layer.

I've not looked at the plan, but I'm sure the dormers are there. Check all levels, including the Attic level.

With Pro, you have manual roofs so you may draw them where you want. For automatic roofs -- roofs build over rooms, so you need to think of the balcony as a room (there is a Balcony room type), with a railing wall defining the outside edge. Because your columns span 2 floors, they need to be placed and sized manually. Your questions tell me you don't understand how the program works, so I'd suggest reviewing the links I provided above. The hour long getting started webinars on YouTube might be a good place to start. There is also a tutorial found under the Help menu that goes over the basics.

You will need to explain what problems you are having. You may have trouble with some of the details like the 2nd floor railing, but for the structure itself, I see no problems. I found this column which looks close enough in the standard library.

Can you show what you want to model? There are many types of columns.

It's helpful to see pictures if what you want to model. What's preventing you from doing these things?

Have you tried updating your video card driver? Do you understand how to do a screen capture? It would be helpful to see your screen showing the problem.

You might say/post images so we know what you are doing. Have you reviewed the documentation? Probably some info in the Knowledge Base.

I'm guessing you don't need any walls marked High Shed Gable. Try just Full Gable. What is it supposed to look like? Post the plan for the best help -- close Pro first.

What does it need to look like? Use a Shelf, Slab, Custom Countertop or Google 3D Warehouse to find a symbol that may work. Also check the Bonus Catalogs available on the Home Designer site.
