Roofs build over rooms. Getting the basic form is easy -- getting the roof correct will be far more difficult. You really need the manual roof tools in Pro to do this type of roof.
-
Have you tried? I know of no tutorial.

You need to be here: https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/ This forum is for Home Designer

No Maybe you should use an imperial template and use metric secondary dimensions.

How do I remove moldings from a single wall in HDP 2020?
solver replied to homedesignKonan's topic in Q&A
Selecting Walls Like other objects, walls can be selected in a variety of ways. See Selecting Objects. • In plan view, if wall hatching has been applied to a wall using the Hatch Wall tool, the hatching may be selected first. Click Select Next Object to select the wall itself. See Hatch Wall. • When Select Room Before Wall in 3D is checked in the Preferences dialog and you click on a wall in a cross section/elevation or camera view, the room defined by that side of the wall will become selected instead of the wall. See Appearance Panel and Selecting Rooms. -

There are a couple of good roof videos -- search for advanced roof. Manual roofs take practice. When I started I probably drew 100 test plans with different configurations and roofs. Understanding auto roofs is also helpful. I'll almost always start with auto working in a Perspective Full Overview so I see the changes immediately. Then switch to manual if needed. I have some roof videos on my YouTube channel too. David Potter has a bunch also.

Auto Rebuild Roofs needs to be on for the roof to respond to structure changes. For manual roofs, select it and raise it the needed amount.

That's really stemwalls with footings and a slab floor instead of a wood structure. Use a Pony Wall for the stem wall. Try adding the insulation to the top part of the Pony Wall and add the insulation to the floor definition. Check Hang 1st Floor Platform Inside Foundation Walls.

Best to start a new topic with your questions, but to answer yours, no -- no way to link plans.

Yes Just use manual roofs to draw the new gable.
-
The Gable/Roof Line tool only works with auto roofs. With manual roofs you draw in your own roof planes. What specifically are you having trouble doing?

There is a truss bonus library, but may not be available for 2016.

Backsplashes.

Like many symbols in the library (or imported from another source) handles may be manually placed. No automatic handle option for windows.

Posting a picture of your wall will help with suggestions. The more expensive titles -- Architectural and Pro have Pony Walls where the upper and lower parts of a wall may be different types like your block on the bottom, frame on top wall. With Suite you need to fake the look, often using a thin soffit applied to the wall. You can then paint the soffit with a material -- concrete block, for example to give the look of a concrete block wall.
