Seems to me that you're looking to make it more of a process than it needs to be. Once a file is saved, the previous history is gone. Might work better if you start the plan, then when you send it to someone else, they save it as ".plan-1" and so on in sequence. That way the previous editor will have the historical files if they save them and then they can be edited. My feeling is that another program that isn't home designer isn't going to be good at saving a home designer file?

Email is the only way I can think of. Since only one person at a time can work on a plan.

Are you offering to pay someone to do this for you?
-
Yes. Delete them and re-download them. Something with the 2025 version seemed to cause some catalog issues

Yes and yes. I have done several projects requesting it. Here is an image of the wall I have saved for it. It's a simple process to create new wall types and your reference manual is a good place to start.

You're welcome. There's more than one way to skin a cat with the program

From the view, no. Did you rebuild the framing?
-
Try unchecking where the subfloor is marked as framing. Just the joists should be checked.
-
Please update your signature so we know what version and year of Home Designer you are using, as that will guide people who want to help. If you are using Chief Architect Premier, then post your question on that forum https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/

Depending on what year of Pro you have, trusses can be automatically built. Then you can take the roofs that are to be stick framed, change their framing type to "rafters", and it should rebuild them with overlay framing. It will be helpful if you update your signature to the version you have so it will be there for any future posts.
-
Or just click on the roofs that are still rafters and see if their framing is set to rafters or trusses before you delete

Are the walls along the foundation wall? If so, you create a "pass through" in the wall in front of the window. Depending on the detail needed, you'll likely need to adjust the casing and sill.on the interior or exterior to get it to look right. Possibly even extending the frame of the window. I usually make the pass through about 1/2" larger than the window and center it on the window so there's a bit of a reveal around the edges. Your description is pretty vague as to what you want to do.

Could be the direction that the camera is facing. In 2025, they have added an axis view so you can see whether it's a positive or negative move. You'll want to post further questions under the "Q&A" tab
-
You do that by going to wall types>foundation. There you will see where you can specify plate size and quantity
-
Or the "fixes" create problems that never existed before

While I don't open .plan files that people post, have you thought of making that wall a solid railing and setting the railing height to what the other rooms are? And again, you would likely benefit from spending a lot of time with the reference manual to understand the program better.
-
Do you have roof trusses turned on in that camera view? Each camera has the option to turn items on and off
-
Probably best to contact customer service tech support directly during their business hours.

If they are different pitches, then yes, you would want Pro to draw them manually. Also, please post questions in "Q&A", so more people will see them. And it's helpful for you to fill out your signature.so people always know what program/year you are using. Click on your profile, then account settings, then signature. Make sure you check for it to display.

Looks to me that they are showing on the door shown at the far right

"Floor finish" means the thickness of the finished floor material. The structure would be where you'd drop it like a garage or deck. Unless your wording is incorrect?
-
Change it to dimension from surface and not wall dimension layer, if Architectural lets you set dimensions that way
-
I have my specs in a word document and copy and paste what I need into a text box for each plan. For my window and door schedule, I have an XL spreadsheet master that I change for each project. For a title page, you can save a layout page and then change it for each project. It is not tedious and you can keep each as a master sheet to pull from

I don't know all of Suite's limitations, yet depending on which way the furring is going to run, you could likely do it with soffits, or custom backsplashes. Put the 1st one where it needs to be against the wall and then define the size (likely 1"x3"). Then "transform/replicate" the right dimension in the right direction. Make the material fir framing so it looks like wood.
