I'd focus on the overall design first, then worry about things like missing bits of wall.

Auto built gable attic walls are by default marked No Room Definition. To create a room, make sure all the walls forming the room do not have this setting checked. For the best responses, it's helpful to have the plan file to review. Close Pro, Zip if needed (14 MB size limit) and attach. I'll also suggest you reconsider the design to eliminate this condition.

Exporting/Saving in Home Designer Pro2022 for Opening in Chief ArchitectX12

Pro 2022 is comparable to X13, and none of the Chief Architect/Home Designer products are able to open newer version plans. -
Exporting/Saving in Home Designer Pro2022 for Opening in Chief ArchitectX12

Your architect should understand the problem. Not really. Give him a PDF of the plan and he can quickly redraw. -
With Pro you could create a single cabinet like this, but for a filler, a blank fronted cabinet is the way to go.
-
How do I stop a filler panel from being automatically drawn?

A forum search will often find answers. -
You will need to use parts, partitions or other items to assemble a cabinet.
-
Not with a single cabinet.
-
A Ceiling Plane might work, or a Custom Backsplash.
-
Just like it is built.

Set this to 0.

Open the cap, set its height, center it over the chimney.
-
Then you created a room that you can control the height of. Walls will build up to a roof automatically -- that's why you have attic walls. The simplest way is to use a solid like a slab and make it as tall as needed.
-
Place a thin soffit, change its material.
-
Please post images directly -- no need to make a PDF of an image. This makes it easier for others as an image shows in the forum.
-
Maybe, but I would use solids, like a soffit to represent the footing. Everything is easier as you have more tools to work with, especially with Pro.
-
What did you use to make what you have now?
-
A Shape from the Library, a Soffit, maybe a Cabinet.
-
The proper way to do this is to create a new wall type with shiplap on the inside.
-
You have managed to make quite a mess during your first week No one can help unless you attach the plan file. Zip if needed -- 14MB size limit, and close the software first.
-
You need the Mac version of the program. Find it in your Digital Locker.

It's difficult to offer suggestions without understanding what walls are causing the problems, and what the correct plan looks like. One trick that sometimes works is to draw a perpendicular Room divider at the end of a wall. The wall will join to the Room Divider.
