  1. You are not sending the layout, you are sending the PDF of the layout.
  2. Copy the PDF files to your flash drive. You do this in Windows or the Mac OS, not from within Pro. Don't know where you found this info, but it's wrong.
  3. Try this -- Edit>Delete Objects

    Tool bars

I don't understand, and don't know how to do this in Chief. Could you link the video?
  5. I think SketchUp is your best answer. SketchUp is free for creating your own truss, if you cannot find one in the 3D Warehouse. I eliminated one vertical on the left side -- what do you think?
  6. Search Help for Standard Area for your answer. You should be able to turn them on and off in Layer Display Options.

    View out door

Exactly. If there is a hall there, draw in a hall. Even when working on a single room (typically a kitchen), I always place it within a larger room. Drawing 4 exterior walls, then drawing a single room within. And I build a foundation and roof -- don't need to be accurate, but the program seems to work better with a more complete model.

    View out door

We need more info. When you are inside, looking through an open door that leads to another room, you will see the other room. What's on the other side of your door?
  9. That's the standard, at least here in the USA.
  10. I picked a few random yellows. What do you see?
  11. You can't change. You can copy/paste into a new plan.
  12. Start a new plan choosing a different template each time. Place an upper cabinet and see what it looks like.
  13. Suite is limited on what you can change on cabinets. You used one of the templates which included a style of cabinet that included crown. You can check the other available templates and see what their cabinets look like -- the default template has a plain cabinet. Once you find a cabinet you like, copy it into your plan, and replace the cabinets with it.

Post the plan with a saved camera and I'll have a look.

    Interior walls

When you select a wall in plan, or in a Dollhouse view, the edit handles are on the exterior side. I'm not sure about a wall selected in a Full or Floor camera that have no identifying features such as a door. You can easily reverse the wall if you guess wrong.
  16. I could, but then you would not learn. Anyway, I don't usually save others files unless I make major changes. If you will be designing these for your husband to build, what I showed in the video should become automatic.
  17. Yes, I've had similar problems.

A second floor is not necessary. What are you having a problem doing?
  21. I normally turn off the automatic cabinet (upper and lower) backsplash and use a Custom Backsplash. This gives complete control. You can also use a Custom Backsplash to patch in the part you need.
  22. Have you tried setting the pitch in the garage door wall? Look in the Roof panel.

  24. Could you post a screen capture? This is from Suite 2016.
