Just tried in Pro 2109 -- should be the same as 2018, and it snaps to CAD. Can you use temporary dimensions to move? And why draw a CAD line to represent your foundation, then draw a slab -- why not just draw the slab? You can convert a closed polyline to a slab too. Select the polyline, choose Convert Polyline, pick Slab.

Thanks Ron. I'm not sure what you want the foundation to look like, but see if this plan helps. You can select the wall in an exterior elevation and move the edges (bottom, sides and top) -- I've moved the middle part up so it's even with either side, and used a slab to fill in the gap. You can open the wall and reset it to its default bottom height to see. You will need to have auto rebuild foundations off for this to work. I probably did some other things, but that was early this morning ... shower.plan

This needs to be changed in Defaults.

I would let the contractor doing your concrete work calculate rebar/mesh. It can vary from what the software shows depending on local customs/codes. And draw a CAD detail showing your floor assembly.

Yes, I post that for every new user. Have you tried doing what you want -- defining the floor structure?

Have you tried?

You are using the term Gable incorrectly. What you are talking about is roof overhang, and 1/4" is too small. Just make it bigger until the unwanted walls go away. You could also change the problem walls to invisible, but the program works better with a larger overhang. A gable is the triangle shaped wall -- what's shown as wood in your image above.

What is "remove the gables from the trusses"? Tell us what you want instead of what you don't want

You need to delete the Roof Baseline Polyline -- Edit>Delete Objects. Then build the roof.
-
Draw in your own exterior wall to replace to interior wall the program created. Read in Help about Lower Wall Type When Split By Butting Roof. You may or may not need this option.
-
You need to create the porch.
-
What would you like them to look like? What happens when you build a roof?

Open Help, search for thumbnail

Did you save a thumbnail with the plan? Not sure what you want to show in the image, but it could be anything displayed when you save the thumbnail.

I'll use CAD lines, and center the block on them. Guessing you are referring to the material list? Not positive, but I don't believe there is a way to change. In my experience, you don't use a continuous sill when building over piers. Just a single block of treated material on top of each pier.

Are you asking about the gap between the wall and floor framing? Turn on the Floor Surfaces layer.

You will need to manually draw it. Use a joist and resize it.

In a framing overview, select the framing member that's above the pillar and open it. It will give you its dimensions -- elevation of the top and bottom etc. Set the top of your pillar to equal the bottom of the framing member. You can do the same thing by taking a cross section and using the dimension tools to measure.

i did not look yet at your plan, but this is what I would do. Take a cross section. Use CAD lines and the angle measurement tool to find the slope. Draw in a ceiling plane. Review in cross section. Adjust as needed.

Start by building a stemwall foundation. That will get your floor platform. Then delete the foundation walls.

You should post a screen capture of the error message. Have you done a reinstall with the repair option?
-
What's not working for you? Posting a plan that represents your best effort will give others something to start with. The software will not build this type of foundation automatically, so you will need to create and place any piers, and possibly some of the framing.
