  1. You could use the backsplash tool for the light gray siding and the trim. I would make a new wall type with that type of siding and fill in where it does not work. A soffit would also work for the trim where it's not curved.
  2. Did you rebuild the roof after making the ceiling height change?
  3. See this video for a how to. http://youtu.be/NsWkGAuIpQA?hd=1
  4. You should be able to select the wall in elevation and reshape the bottom as you require. You will be working with the wall polyline, so the break, and change line to arc tools will be helpful. Sometimes a doorway could be used, but I believe the stone would keep that from working.

  7. Ill try that. Thank you! You still have not clearly stated what you want to do. You drew a plan on level 1. You want to move it to level 2 and then draw a new level 1. Is this it? If so -- it's simple to do.
  8. I'll make my guess. You drew a plan on level 1. You want to move it to level 2 and then draw a new level 1. Why not build on the foundation level 0? It sounds like you have a walkout basement.
  9. Is Pro closed -- or any other app that may be referencing the file?
  10. You are not sending the layout, you are sending the PDF of the layout.
  11. Copy the PDF files to your flash drive. You do this in Windows or the Mac OS, not from within Pro. Don't know where you found this info, but it's wrong.

I don't understand, and don't know how to do this in Chief. Could you link the video?
  14. I think SketchUp is your best answer. SketchUp is free for creating your own truss, if you cannot find one in the 3D Warehouse. I eliminated one vertical on the left side -- what do you think?
  15. Search Help for Standard Area for your answer. You should be able to turn them on and off in Layer Display Options.

Exactly. If there is a hall there, draw in a hall. Even when working on a single room (typically a kitchen), I always place it within a larger room. Drawing 4 exterior walls, then drawing a single room within. And I build a foundation and roof -- don't need to be accurate, but the program seems to work better with a more complete model.

    View out door

We need more info. When you are inside, looking through an open door that leads to another room, you will see the other room. What's on the other side of your door?
  18. That's the standard, at least here in the USA.
  19. I picked a few random yellows. What do you see?
  20. You can't change. You can copy/paste into a new plan.
  21. Start a new plan choosing a different template each time. Place an upper cabinet and see what it looks like.
  22. Suite is limited on what you can change on cabinets. You used one of the templates which included a style of cabinet that included crown. You can check the other available templates and see what their cabinets look like -- the default template has a plain cabinet. Once you find a cabinet you like, copy it into your plan, and replace the cabinets with it.
