  1. @joshhunter Have you reviewed the documentation (Help) on Materials List?
  2. Use the tools in the program. It depends on what type of extra support you need.
  3. @itsElaine Tell us what software you are using. No idea what your first image is showing, but neither look correct for a 30x40 cabin. Have you had someone engineer the foundation and floor structure, or are you doing it yourself? You might attach the plan file for the best help. Close the program before attaching (and Zip if it's over 14MB).

    HELP with elevation

16,591 KB is over 16 MB. Plan should easily Zip to a smaller size.
  6. You can help everyone by adding that info, Windows or Mac computer etc to your signature by clicking on your user name at the top right of the page (make the page wider if it's not shown), click Account Settings, then Signature on the left. Doing so makes it always available, and keeps others from having to hunt for it. Thanks That's not really a dormer so the dormer tool is the wrong choice. Do what Rookie65 said, and if you need the small roof to the sides and along the front, draw it in with the manual roof tools. This video might help.

    Stem wall with slab

You seem to be using all the default settings. You simply need to adjust a few things. I mentioned in the video you probably need to set the stemwall height when you build the foundation. You can either rebuild the foundation with the correct height, or you can open the room on Floor 0 and change the height there. You have built a terrain and its height needs to change. Open the terrain specification and move it up. Click the Help button at the bottom of that dialog for more info. And just so you know, the blocks you see are not really blocks. That's just an image of block and may or may not be an accurate representation.
  9. I'm guessing you want to move the pocket to the opposite side of the opening.
  10. Everything is an Object. Everything is on a Layer. Object Layer = the Layer an Object is on.
  11. @Highlandofficer I just did the update. You don't see this?

What doesn't work? You can select a soffit in perspective view via a click.
  13. @thsk1249 Please check your messages -- envelope icon top of page.
  14. Your question is best directed to those at Chief Architect via the Sales Related Questions section here on the forum, email or phone. You might ask specific questions about your workflow. Have you reviewed applicable articles and videos?

    Menu Box Location

Then don't. Click (left click) to select, only right click if you want the Context Menu.

    Menu Box Location

    Are you right clicking?

    Menu Box Location

That's a contextual (context) menu. Like in most every other application, it's accessed by right clicking on something.
  18. Sinks need a base cabinet to insert into. Place a base cabinet, set the height to 0" and remove the Toe Kick. Add your sink and custom countertop. The sink will auto center over the cabinet. To move it, select the cabinet, Tab to select the sink.
  19. @BoDay1 Showing how to move a Label, and a bunch of other related/unrelated things.
  20. For this type of question, someone really needs the plan file to work with, and to understand exactly where the wall should locate.
  21. That's the first thing to try. Close Pro, then ... On Windows (don't know about a Mac, and I forgot to suggest you add that info to your signature) right click on a file, choose Send To, then Compressed (zipped) folder. If it's still too big, make a copy and delete things that are unneeded, furniture, cars, plants etc. Here is another video with some tips on getting started with the program > https://youtu.be/s-TcAHsiMjg
