Using wall settings for auto rebuild roof:

    Roof Issues

This was done using only auto rebuild roof. Reset the the center room (family room) to the default finished ceiling height. Build a 2nd floor (use blank plan), drawing new walls over the family room (floor reference turned on). Set the room type of the new room to "open below". Set the finished ceiling height to about 60", and uncheck "flat ceiling over this room".
  4. You are already off to a bad start. You did not partition off the garage from the house, therefore the main house 1st floor is set at-12" instead of 0".
  5. I don't believe you got the arch from a soffit. How did you do it? Do you not know that you can draw walls through soffits, without deleting the soffits?
  6. You need to update your signature. Open the core library and select any one of the moldings. Click on the door casing in a 3d view. Did you delete the microwave oven that is in outer space southeast of the house? It is creating havoc with the full perspective overview.
  7. Yes, you can. Open a NEW plan (default style template) and tile it beside your existing plan. Add a door to an interior wall in a temporary building (in the new plan), then copy the door. With your original plan selected as the active plan, paste this door into the plan. Is that what you wanted?
  8. Eric gave you the answer, and you followed that up by answering your own question.
  9. Easiest solution using auto build roof? Create (build) a new floor; Choose 'make new blank plan'. With the floor reference turned on, draw 4 new walls as shown. Obviously set the front wall to be a gable. Open the room, and start raising or lowering the ceiling height until the roof perfectly blends with the existing roof.
  10. Set the room type as "bath".
  11. If you are desperate...try this. To alter the properties of the cabinet (after blocking), select the block, hit tab, then ctrl E to open the cabinet.
  12. Your picture doesn't show the area of the roof with the problem. Even so, (as Eric said) you would have to improvise to get something looking similar (with Suite or Architectural). Only Pro has manual roof tools.

    Elevation

Not enough information. Did you check the layers for the elevation view?
  14. In realty, 'wretched' steps (or porch floors) should never meet the 1st floor level. They should always be about 102mm (4") below the 1st floor, to prevent water entry. Since your marble steps do not have a separate tread, why not just create them like your 2d pic shows? Use soffits, slabs, or box shapes.
  15. I don't think that Suite has pony walls. Your finished basement will have a full foundation wall, not a knee wall. Type 'Split level structure' in the forum search box, and also in the knowledge base search box, for more info and suggestions for this type of structure. Posting a jpeg pic of the house will help others to help you with more specific problems. You will need to do some 'work-arounds' to get the desired look that you want.
  16. ??? Reality check. You need to think that through.
  17. Why not just create the spiral stairs using the stair tool, and see if that will work? Stairs created with the stair tool are much more customizable, too.
  18. You need to re-do the 2nd floor railing around the stairs. It is causing the problem.
  19. You haven't made it really clear how you want the patio to be built. If you want it to be like the rest of the house, then it will have a framed wood floor structure of 12.6" height. Most patios/porches are built on a slab, which is the way your patio is currently built. So which is it? I am guessing that you want a finished floor on top of the concrete, and stem walls below the slab, that match the stem walls of the rest of the house?

    Shower drain

It would be much simpler to just add a vertical cylinder (same size as the drain), .25" height, painted black. Then slide it under the drain.

    Lean-to Issue

The plan builds with exterior siding showing as expected, in Architectural 2018. The siding also shows as expected in Pro 2020. However, in Pro 2021 (also HDA 2021 ) the siding does not show above the shed roof. Either something changed within the software, or it is a bug. To fix this, you must reset the middle room ceiling back to default height. Then build a blank 2nd floor (turn on floor reference), drawing 4 new walls over the walls of the middle room, and also align the walls. Designate this room as 'open below', decide on your ceiling height, and set the front and back wall roof as 'gable'.
  22. Looks good. Don't forget to add the wall caps to the top of the terraced walls. P.S. Your swimming pool is flat. Read up on how to do a pool.
