The cabinets are to small for the sink Make the cabinet 60" or more, drop the sink in it. Then open the cabinet specification box, click on Front> check the reverse box

Here's an example of a dormer, the dormer has to fit inside the roof pane. Draw a room, use the dormer tool and apply to any one of the roof panes to get an idea of how it works.

Tomathome Your Welcome, I like the Gables over the windows, how did you do that? solver, you were not wrong with the solutions to fix the problem, just the wrong software to do it. Since you downloaded the Trial version you will see Suite's limitations.
-
For second time you CANNOT do that in Suite you can view it and that's it. Go back and read what I wrote then you will understand. If the OP could undo what S/he did, then why come to the forum looking for advice to fix the problem? Suite's display options box is totally different from Pro. You can check/uncheck that's it. In Pro you have alot more options. It seems as though you are copying and then pasteing your response, without having read what was said. In Suite you cannot manually edit or delete roof panes, gable lines, wall layers etc:
-
Yes it does but you can only look at them, you can't delete it, edit or whatever. The real problem is why is that wall showing up Gabled when none the walls in the plan are gabled. You can not get rid of it.

Tomathome, What is it your trying to do? The plan I uploaded is your original plan, the garage is fixed. The difference with this one is you added a window. Further, you should send this to Tech support. There's a attic wall that just won't go away, it's gabled, but none of the walls in the plan are. solver in Suite you can't do manual editing of roofs like you can in Pro.
-
Yea, I chuckeled at the plan. The 36" pitch for Garage LOL, The 3" pitch of Master bedroom and the default 10" ceiling heights for the 2nd floor. As solver suggested, reset the Plan pitch, I would go to 6 or 8, you may have to resize the Garage Area, use the stairwell tool, align the second floor walls with first floor. Use the break wall tool if you only want the Garage gabled.

Here is a version of the plan you posted in October. Untitled 16.zip

The problem is with your video, you only have 512k. at a minimum you should have 2Gb. If I'm not mistaken the software tells you what's needed to run the software.

I downloaded your plan. First: rename your rooms to what they are suppose to be. ie: kitchen, bath etc. you have the first floor rooms as slab. reset the ceiling heights to defaults on the first floor. There's alot of invisable walls on both floors, if they are not needed delete them. DO NOT create rooms and walls in the Attic, you have a room (s) and wall(s) in the Attic, delete them and redraw them on the second floor. View the plan in Doll house, it will show you issue with the walls and rooms.

Change height of Gable Wall but keep on the same roof pitch as main roof
LawB10 replied to jaredhislop30's topic in Q&A
In Suite you will have to add a second floor room and then lower the ceiling height. -

Post the plan please.

The window on the left is solver's solution without the foundation, the window on the right is David's solution with the foundation I lowered the ceiling, gabled the side walls and lowered the pitch for each wall. If this doesn't work for you, then post the plan and some pics.
-
Like this? If so, just extend the window out.

Click>Tools>Display Options. Check what you want/don't want to display.

go to the kb for saltbox or shed roof.
-
draw the pantry using interior walls, use the shelf tool and resize and lower the shelf (s) to your liking. Add the door and change to glass or go to the library click Architecural>doors and doorways>glass panel>french doors.
-
click on each wall for the Garage, open it's specification box click materials>interior wall surface>select material. click use default click ok.
-
Why don't you use the skylight tool that comes with the software? It does all the work for you.
-
Did you turn off attic walls in 3d mode?
