My impression is that there is a difference. If you want suggestions on why, or how to resolve the issue, then we need the plan.

Oops -- thought I was looking at Suite. I see you have Ignore Top Floor checked. Is that the only way you could get the roof to build? If you uncheck that, the addition roof builds, but the original roof changes.

Probably need to find a SketchUp symbol (google 3D Warehouse).

Check the View menu, and make sure the program is maximized.

That tool is no longer on the default toolbar. You can add it via Customize Toolbars, or just use the Copy/Paste tool as it will open a secondary toolbar with additional options.

No easy way that I know. Depending on the numbers of each, might be easier to select lights and switches, cut them, then select and change outlets, then paste/hold position to put the other back.

You need someone with Pro 2016, or Chief X7. Chief needs to set the flag to allow editing in Home Designer. You might post in Seeking Services on ChiefTalk. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/forum/15-seeking-services/

I understand, but what's the problem with them running through? Is it just a visual thing?

What problem are you trying to solve? The beam may be located correctly, so the issue is with the joists?

Manual roofs would be simpler, but review these options to get the roof to build where you want. Make it the actual heights.

You need the 2nd floor. Have you added one to see what happens? Are you using manual or auto roofs?

Did you uncheck Flat Ceiling Over This Room in the Garage?

Reset your default ceiling to 96" (in defaults). Edit>Reset to Defaults Choose Ceiling Height Raise the garage ceiling to 196".
